The bolded to me screams coaching, Our assistant coaches are abysmal and haven't been replaced for some very strange reason. How is it that both malentyn and NAK were shutting down teams #1 lines with Nic Dowd in Washington and Sam Laffert was solid with the Nucks last year with a +4 and 24 points but when these guys come here with this broken system with no structure they flop. Why don't we go out and get the best assitant coaches money can buy? I just don't see this thing changing for the Sabres until Pegula gets serious about winning which he doesn't care right now because other teams fans are paying to come into our building dirt cheap and cheering on their teams. Sorry I didn't mean to turn this into a doom and gloom but it always seems to go there talking about this franchise.

I want to say we're close but it doesn't look like it. * A top 6 forward (A top C if Norris/Kulich isn't the answer) is a must. * we need at least 2 legit defensive RHD and a 3rd reserve (like a Bryson but good) * A starting goalie * Upgrades over Krebs, Quinn and Lafferty * We need to rid ourselves of Matias Samuelsson, Jacob Bryson * Use Byram or Power in a trade for a top 6 forward * Will Levi be up for the task next season if we upgrade our defense?

Another rookie left handed defensemen, what could go wrong?

These players are part of Adams vision, either drafted, through free agency or trades. His vision for this team is terrible. A soft skilled, young team who have to be told to stick up for one another.

My mistake that was Botterill not Adams but it still stands for Adams.

I’m glad we got rid of some softies from this roster. I was not a fan of Jokiharju at all, we would have lost him for nothing so it doesn’t really matter what we got back in return but another example of how trash Adams is at evaluating talent.

Just when I thought they couldn't get a softer Dman than Jokiharju, they just can't help themselves. I like him as much as I liked Joker, not much at all.
