First, Risto only has one year on his deal so it's effectively the same situation Second, If all you can get for a 25 year old 25g scoring winger with one year left is a cap dump, a draft pick and a medium prospect, and traded in your division, your an incompetent GM. The guy said he wants to go back West. You can't tell me that Calgary, Van, Sea, Edm, etc couldn't have put a similar package together? Third, a competent GM can say no. We have the season up until the trade deadline to trade him. This same kind of failed package would be available then. If the package is only this and Sam signs an extension, what more evidence do we need that KA is incompetent at his position.

If that is all we get for Reinhart, KA needs to go asap.

If the return for Reinhart is Levi, a mediocre prospect and a conditional first he should be fired immediately. He gave me hope with the Risto trade, but there must have been a bidding war between Philly and Montreal. Here left to his own devices he crapped the bed again.

I’m patient with players and If KA trades Reinhart for Levi and a conditional first he should be fired. Had he signed Reinhart for this season and then traded him at the deadline he would have received more. Risto trade gave me hope and this one took it away again.

Why are people saying Hepomiemi is a bust prospect. He is 22 with 9 games of NHL experience, but was a 1pt a game player in two leagues last season. This is the same group that said Mitts was a bust (wrongly) and extolled the virtues of a 24 year old D with 14 games of NHL experience and zero points in those games. I think I’ll take a wait and see attitude if this kid is coming here thanks.
