He took a Florida team in the same shape we are in an immediately turned them around. Much of that team you see today is of his influence on the culture. BUT... he is hard on GM's.

It just goes to show you that with 25% increase of competence would be good enough for another 10 points. With all that has transpired just flip 5 wins or 3 wins with 4 loser OT points and we'd be on track. That is how much of an outlier of futility we are that in 13 years we could not achieve this scenario. It's really not that hard to make the playoffs.
