Lindy looked legitimately dejected.

This team has been historically mismanaged in much of its history. It’s part of the toxic culture around this team.

Absolutely. The fact they have only won one game means the "analytics" are bad in a lot more areas than they are good. Grabbing one group of stats is not the whole picture.

It looked like he was on his way to be a regular 30 goal scorer. Got a ridiculous extension on an outlier season.

I think it was a mistake to put pressure on Lindy to win now. This team and culture is so dysfunctional it will take years to get them out if it. I don’t think this is the roster to get us there either. But a lot would have to change quickly to get on a playoff pace.

No real NHL fan base has ever had to put up with anything like this.
