    In my opinion it’s the country club atmosphere that the Pegulas created once they took over. That locker room is the Taj Mahal compared to what it used to be. The Pegulas copied what the Penguins did with their digs, almost to a tee. This team has missed the playoffs in every FULL season since the Pegulas took over. That’s not a coincidence. Between the outrageous salaries and country club treatment, young kids these days have little incentive to bust their ass like decades past.

    Murray’s trades bothered me a whole lot more than his drafting. The first round pick for Lehner was idiotic. The trade and contract for O’Reilly in hindsight was awful too. Although at the time I’ll admit I liked it.

    Im past the frustration point. Im perfectly fine with them losing every game. Does no good to win now. Win that lottery. It’s their only hope of being good. Someday.

    This team might be THE worst shooting percentage team in league history. I’d love to see the all time stats. They are damn close.

    I bought a 8 game mini pack back in August. Worst decision I’ve made. I’ve sold the first five games of it so far. Best decision I’ve made.

    This is true. But when your team is dead last in scoring and dead last in shooting percentage in the entire NHL, you have no chance. That’s why this team will finish dead last this year. Let’s hope for once they can win the lottery. Doubtful.

    I think it’s hilarious when people make a big deal of having a tall goalie. A big goalie means nothing, all of them are down on their knees 95% of the time.

    Actually they have two sets of back to back in Feb, but it won’t matter.

    I thinks it’s 100% he’s the guy full time after RJ leaves. Is it not? But I have NO idea who’s decision it was to hire him and worse, to keep him. He is god awful.

    I wonder if Kane pleads everyday with Botterill to trade him THAT day. I sure would.

    Also not a shock that Dan Dunleavy is still as unbearable to try and listen to as ever.

    Shocker two Stars alone in front. Sabres standing idly by just watching.

    So far Botterill’s big move has been to send Moulson down. I’m pretty sure a 10 year old kid who watches the Sabres could have made that move.

    I wish Botterill would just pull the trigger now and start unloading everybody. 4-5 more weeks of this just prolongs the agony.

    This stupid team has NO clue how to clear bodies or clear the puck from in front of the net.

    Once Lehner is down, he just can’t get up. That’s the downside to such a large goaltender. He just has no ability to pop up and move quickly once committed.
