For all those that think Bots is going to magically fix this team next year just remember HE is the one that used questionable judgement in several of the players he brought in this year. Baloo, Nolan, Pommers amongst others. It will take a minor miracle for him to fix this team.

Most of these guys checked out back in January. Some suck. Some don’t play hard. Most Sabres are a combination of both.

This team is THE worst shooting team ever. They are a joke. Dead last in goals and shooting %. Not a shock when you see this display. Two missed breakaways is unforgivable. Come on lottery balls!!

I think both Scandella and Beaulieu have been utter disappointments this season. Among many others.

I think the biggest difference we will see going forward between TM and Botterill is that TM was more than willing to trade away 1st and 2nd round picks. In retrospect, that was a huge mistake as Lehner, O’Reilly and the Kane trade hasn’t made us close to being a good team. I will be shocked if Botterill trades a 1st round pick at any point in the next 3-4 years. Maybe more.

Neither of our goalies can get up once they’re down. Would also help to have forwards pick up bodies but I know that’s asking WAYYY too much.

I wasn’t singling out you. I just mean in general I don’t know why they keep saying it’s a first when it’s far more likely it’ll be a second. O’Regan played on Jacks line in college supposedly.

Far more accurately it’s a 2019 second. That could possibly, but not likely become a first. It should be reported this way instead of saying the Sabres got a first. They didn’t get a first.

This Sabres team is maybe the worst in team history for a variety of reasons. And definitely either the worst or second worst in the NHL. Not shocked one bit that other GMs want nothing to do with our players and gave us terrible value on the Kane trade. Botterill is stuck with this mess. Good luck cleaning it up.

Lol how many replays of goals scored against the Sabres have we seen Risto standing in front of the net useless? Add another to that list. STILL waiting for the Sabres to actually physically take a man out in front of the net.
