If anyone lives outside of NY and has relatives/friends with Spectrum cable and willing to lend their log in info to you, then you can stream the Sabres games on the spectrum app. I’m in the Midwest and watching the Sabres thru the spectrum app. I wasn’t sure if the app would show Sabres games live but it is for me tonight.

I know nobody wants to even contemplate this, but Dahlin was billed as a 100% can’t miss prospect correct? I’ve frequently had thoughts/fears/nightmares about what IF he isn’t going to be great? Is there any chance of this? Is this all a Sabres development issue or is there a possibility Dahlin will never be great?

I didn’t necessarily expect us to beat the Caps tonight or tomorrow, but I definitely didn’t expect us to be dominated by them.

Last year the Sabres were horrible with penalty killing and not good in goaltending. Therefore those are areas #1 and #2 that must improve. If Stahl can actually contribute AND help Skinner regain some semblance of his former self if they actually are on a line together as expected, then yes the Sabres can make the playoffs. That is a lot of IFs. But that’s why they play the games.

The scheduling conflicts in those 3 buildings are with their NBA teams as that schedule was set weeks ago.

The Sabres would need a good GM, scouting dept and owners to make ANY necessary expenditures and “shrewd” moves. In other words, it ain’t happening around here anytime soon.

Agreed. And if the Pegulas are ever dumb enough to let Adams trade away Eichel, they might as well sell the team the following day. To me that would be the last nail in their coffin as owners. It would finally expose them as moronic owners they are with no one left to defend them as so many like to do. This team is one of the monumentally historically most awful teams in league history these past 9 years. How they don’t get more of the blame for all this is beyond me.

The Pegulas should do the exact opposite of what they think is the “right” thing. Their odds of success can’t go anywhere but up.

I’d bet more on it being 2-3 years tops before they are thrown on the trash heap after the Sabres remain near the bottom five of the NHL standings.

IF the Sabres ever traded Eichel, id 1000% guarantee it’s would not be to Boston or Toronto. ANY other team could be possible but never Boston or Toronto.

This is where I’m at. I haven’t bought a ticket or any Sabres merchandise in over two years now and I will never regret that decision. Fortunately I’m also moving out of WNY this fall so I’ll never have to worry about tickets again and I have enough Sabres stuff to last a lifetime. No need for more. Sad how far this team and my enthusiasm for them has fallen the past decade.

I’ve never seen someone in professional sports so giddy at his introductory news conference as Adams Lol. He probably feels like he just won the lottery.

Anyone still wondering why the Sabres are where they are after the past 9 years only needs to watch this press conference to know the answer.
