I’d agree with this. Not because RK doesn’t deserve to be fired, he definitely does. But moreso because the Pegulas aren’t smart enough to realize yet that RK is a horrible coach and this season is over. Whenever it finally dawns on the Pegulas that RK is in over his head, that’s when it will happen. The Buffalo media will accelerate this process now that RK has been proven to be a liar. I’d expect the media to become more merciless on RK from this point on.

Ralph with his lies will now lose any last shred of credibility with the media in this town and thankfully this should be the beginning of the end for him behind the bench. I’d expect the local media will start picking away at his carcass until there is little left.

Only in Buffalo. A lot of organizations fire coaches for much much less. As we just saw in Montreal and it happens every year in this league.

You know this organization isn’t that forward thinking. They probably still think they can make the playoffs.

The amount of useless, talentless, overpaid players on the Sabres is staggering. They look like a high school team vs a pro team today.

Well the Sabres organization IS the Titanic and it hit an iceberg about 10 years ago.

Is it really all that surprising considering the organization??

I feel bad for season ticket holders and people that actually waste their money on this product.

Why anyone would willingly pay money to go see this sh*tshow of a team covid or not this season is beyond me. You’d get far better use fertilizing your lawn with your shredded money than giving anything to this organization and owners. I haven’t spent $1 on anything Sabre related in the past four years. Smartest decision I’ve ever made. Wish I had done it a few years earlier actually.

The lights were turned off on this season a few weeks ago.

Also, this team will never have a chance with the current ownership, management and coaching either. So settle in. It’s another 3-4 years minimum without playoffs here in Buffalo.

Lol RK won’t be changing. And he also won’t be leading Buffalo to any championships. He will be fired at some point. Hopefully 2021. 2022 at the latest.

Sabres are THE worst at securing shutouts. Always have been. Great game by Ullmark. Lots of flopping on that one. Saw it coming.

Definitely an all of the above option should have been listed for this poll. So hard to limit this to one choice. I chose Dunleavy because that is the voice we hear the most and I’ve never thought much of his talent. Anyone following RJ would have an uphill climb in this town, but I really really wish the Sabres would look at a new play by play man when RJ retires for good. But I know it’s already a done deal that Dunleavy has the job.

Krueger should be more concerned that he doesn’t know how to coach in the NHL. I know that’s what concerns me most at the moment.

Surprised there isn’t a thread just for the Tahoe games this weekend. Just an amazing sight out there. Definitely the most picturesque location they’ve ever done for an outdoor game.

This proves anyone, literally ANYONE would be a better backup goalie than Hutton.

Sabres lose to a goalie making his first start in over three years. Sounds about right.

They aren’t any better in the neutral or opposing zone either. Power Play is the only way they score consistently. They just aren’t going to get it done this year.

The “easy” games this season were supposed to be the 16 vs the Rangers and Devils. The Sabres just showed they aren’t better than either of those teams, let alone the other 5 in the division. These guys have no hope with the current coaching staff. The season is as good as dead.

We can only hope.
