Actually a lot of the article gives you hope until the very end when Adams claims he has taken responsibility for where the Sabres are. I don’t know if he said that with a straight face or not at the time, but my god how anyone can be proud of the accomplishments here of the past five years, let alone the past 14, it just confirms that we have delusionals’ leading the franchise in ownership and management. In any REAL sports franchise you could never get away with this level of incompetence year after year. And in Buffalo it’s just business as usual. Nothing to see here, just move along, there is always next year. It’s delusional, hilarious and pathetic all at the same time. And sadly there are still way too big a percentage of fans that willingly buy into it and continue to purchase season tickets. I’ll never understand it. I guess there are a lot more people with money to burn around here than we ever knew.

I’m not shocked in the least how Cozens is performing there. Also it’s 2 games. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say he can’t keep up this hitting pace over a full season of action, but at least he is smart enough to know what his perceived weaknesses were and he’s trying to get a new start with a new team. So I give him credit for that. I know he’s happy to at least be playing in meaningful games. He’s already said that much.

Cozens after 2 games with the Sens, got the game winner tonight, leads the league in hits the past two games and he was named the second star in each of his games there. The Sabres effect in action. Shocked. Shocked I tell ya.

Maybe Adams is just pacing himself? If he hasn’t fixed it by now, he ain’t fixing it. That’s how sports work. Although I will admit, with the Sabres winning is optional. It’s mostly just an odd hobby for Pegula. But I’ll repeat, if Adams was capable of turning this ship around, we would have seen signs of it by now after half a decade. It ain’t happening. Every year he is here is another year down the tubes. The Sabres will match or pass the Bills drought streak.

I don’t know how any Sabres fan in his right mind can still cling to any hope whatsoever that anything here can be saved 😂. It’s all gone, long long gone.

I also see them as a crap team next year. Oh, CAP team. My bad. Carry on Kevyn.

And now it’s finally time to turn the page to the annual “look forward to the summer” moves that never come from Adams. I won’t hold my breath. What I am actually looking forward to is the summer of maybe 2027 or 2028, just after Adams’ has been whacked. Then maybe major moves will finally occur. Maybe.

Blowing leads like the Sabres do constantly should have the entire team puking quite frankly.

He should have known better. But at least he will be able to take his big deal with him to his next destination.

Sabres dominated by the worst team in the league. The hits just keep on coming with this group of losers, led by even bigger losers in the owner and GM of this lost franchise.

I wonder what the math is now for us to make the playoffs. Lol I know we still have a couple diehards on here that will be busily running the numbers 🤦‍♂️

Sabres approach…stand around and watch. Oh I’m sure Adams will make 1-2 meaningless trades from the 3rd or 4th lines. He will do NOTHING to drastically improve this team. And for those say well just wait for the off season, yeah we’ve heard and hoped for that before as well. He sits on his hands come summertime as well.

The past few seasons solely have been a failure of special teams and inconsistent goaltending. Obviously they need better talent through the forward and defensive group, but if you had to narrow it down to just a couple crucial areas, it’s special teams and the need for far above average goaltending.

This team, as currently constructed, isn’t nearly good enough at goaltender, defense and forward. ALL three phases need improvement before this team is anywhere close to being a playoff team.

I’ve felt that way the past four years and haven’t regretted the decision to give them up one bit. I’m amazed at how many others are still gluttons for punishment with their time and money for a franchise that could care less about giving them a good product to cheer for.
