Of course it was worth it. That’s not the discussion we were having.
-
Ofcourse they do. But don't thin it doesn't have an impact on supporting players and the teams ability to afford them. As the Blackhawks.

That guy was a magician with the puck on his stick. The hockey Gods really are a cruel and unusual bunch.
-
All of them are suppose to be streamed.

Does roselvic or whatever his name change that? Let’s atleast hope the D is stout. This is my point. If we’re not happy with the return then what are we doing here? I still don’t want to trade him just to trade him. Give my depth with joker in roch if so be it.

Do we really want Winnipeg’s third liner? Unless it’s Ehlers then I’m ready to see what Risto looks like in our group.
-
Sure but he’s not saying jack better start the year playing with skinner or olofsson or whoever.
-
No gm in the league is going to dictate or even have much to any say in lineups and D pairings.
-
For O that’s it for sure. The D should look a lot different too (I hope). Big improvement in our breakouts and a nice step for Dahlin is the scenario you get too if this drought ever ends this season.

Dude this is my exact point. No worries, moving on.....
-
First bold is exactly my point. Second bold how do you know that? He made a couple small comments at the end of the season, it seems obvious he and Botts have had some discussions about moving on. He's been here like 5 friggen years of losing. Sabres brought in 3 new RHD. It seems obvious Jason is still in on trade talks. I don't even think it would be out of line Risto questioning why he's still here publicly. I'm glad this is Risto's makeup but it's not uncommon for Athletes of any sport to say what's on their mind rather than the company line ya know?
-
I will say the same here as the other thread. I disagree with your take. There are so many athletes who voice their real opinions to the media.
-
No it's not. Many have publicly said they want out. Risto isn't doing that. Ofcourse there is still the game to be played out and he may get moved but there are many athletes who have chosen to not keep their mouth shut about it.
-
This is great. I've been waiting to see what quotes we would get from Risto on Day 1 and he's saying all of the right things. Either way it's bad news if he started off saying he would like to move on or something. Then we either trade him for an even further depressed value or we keep him and it's hanging over the team all season.

This.
-
This is a very very good sign. He’s not coming out demanding a trade or anything along those lines. Saying all the right things.
-
If that isn’t cap circumvention then I guess I don’t know what that is.
-
His health care costs comparative to the general population will be significantly higher. Don’t want to really full out jump into the debate, just sayin...
-
I know things are slow right now but....
-
Does a Laine trade help or hurt odds of a Risto to Peg deal? Would open up cap space for them.
