The Sabres are known to surprise in games where many people count them out and faulter when expected to win. I'm going 6-3 for the good guys.

Not here nor there but they won their first round playoff series and took the Rags to 7 the next round. Tough loss though, no excuse not beating the Leafs.

I'm just as upset as you that we only have 2 wins. But if you don't consider Philly or Washington a legit team then who is? Just Pitt and Boston?

To be fair Vanek and Pommers played the shift before with less than a minute left. They were gassed, next best guys were Hodgson (who was out there I believe), can't remember who he played with.

My apologies for the misunderstanding. I'm not sure about fair amount but there are some I'm sure. If you're spending that much on tix though I would be surprised if they didn't feel more of an emotional attachment to THIS team though.

If your saying true to most Sabres season ticket holders from Canada being Leafs fans I think you're absolutely wrong. I'd be shocked if even 0.5% is buying as an investment. Think of it this way. He can't take a dumb penalty late in the game like he did the last time we played the leafs.

Damn, I thought we were the better team that period but can't bury the puck. Miller has not been as sharp as usual and that one goal is on Grigs (maybe the 3rd). He turns the puck over at Toronto's blueline and looks slow getting back. Still lot's of time left and we're only down one. Let's kill off the remaining 1:50 and pop one in the final 18 minutes.

Going to be a good one! The atmosphere is always great for these games. Usually half the crowd is pro-T.O. which causes the Chet and Muffy fans to be very vocal. Being a Tuesday night may slightly limit the amount of leaf fans making the trip but it's usually a loud, fun game. Obviously anyone with info regarding Vanek's and Grigs availability for tonights game, please post. Let's Go Buffalo!!

I know, I'm actually surprised his +/- has been as solid as it has been. But the guy is here to score points. Period. I know there is the argument to made that Ruff has him playing with guys like Ott and Hecht for the most part and he hasn't seen as much time on the PP as I would like. However, if he is as super talented as an 18 year old should be to crack an NHL lineup than he needs to bury a couple (including the chance he had late in the game Sunday).

Ya, he must have strained it pretty bad. Usually guys who don't come into training camp in shape have these types of injuries. Not that Lenio has dogged it since signing his massive contract or anything. I know this isn't the thread but the only guy on this team I would buy out next offseason would be him. Really? I know his 0 points and -1 +/- is blowing us all away.

I hope you're right but neither of those two guys are even getting chances IMO. Foligno was so noticeable last year but seems a step slow this year. The only hope I have is that they're both young, but that's about it.

Ya, this team is just not very good unfortunatley. Absolutely no depth. Gerbe is too small and is just very ineffective. The young guys have regressed/not lived up to expectations so far in this early season (Grigs, Foligno) the D has been poor (Myers and Leopold in particular). If not for Miller and our top line we could easily be 0-4. I love watching the Sabres so I'll keep watching all year, they just look like a team that doesn't have what it takes to make the playoffs (only 4.5 games into the year I know). Forgot to mention that Stafford is absolutely useless.

If we end up winning this game it's on Miller.
