@ Brawndo - Although the Canadian national anthem would have been nice before Sabres/Ducks they had a moment of silence which I thought was a class act move. I had the Ducks feed last night so as Tank said, maybe MSG was at commercial.

Multiple ###### have opened fire at Parliament Hill today where the Leafs are to play the Sens. Would think the game may get cancelled. Hope everyone is ok in Ottawa today.

 Liger, this the GDT. I think you are meaning to be posting in the CHL Thread -

Very true. Plus the likely run of backup goaltenders. Although this club has a way of making backups look like all stars so that may not be a huge factor.

I'm going with they were already bitten and this was the last chance to say ###### you.

@ Dennis - I think the priest locked humans (friends?) out of the church during a zombie attack based on the discovery of deep cuts trying to break the window/shutters and the carving of 'you will burn for this' or something along those lines. The one zombie with the glasses he saw must have been one of the humans he had locked out. Question is why?

Do not put the cart before the horse. It will take continued strong efforts out of Mez and Beno along with good goaltending to pull off 20 of 24 points.

That's right. Anti-tankers have taken over every other thread on the board. This is our sanctuary.

Hahahhah no need to insult just because I disagree. I know money and term may be a factor but if a proud guy who only has a few years left in the league chose to sign in buffalo after going to the eastern conference finals then I think players must see the way tpegs treats his players. They must also see there are a lot of prospects in the pipeline that may be coming and contributing as soon as later this year. I'm sure gionta knew things would not be rosy this year but things certainly have the potential to turn around before he hangs it up.

Disagree with almost all of this. Some fans may not see it but I firmly believe there is a plan in place and other nhl players must as well due to us signing moulson and gionta (and it was rumoured ott wanted to come back). Siberia of the nhl? This is a great hockey market a stones throw from the gta where many nhl players come from and have family. That may have been the perception before pegula when some previous owners were very tight with spending but I don't think that's the sentiment around the league today.

That's right freeman. That's why this team has to block out the haters and consistently push through the year similar to their hot start. It's going to be a long season with some heavy competition throughout.

Good job Numark. I think it's posts like that pointing out the future really is coming that keeps some of us sane through a year like this.
-
I'm not positive if he would burn the year if he played less than 9 but if we're keeping him all year I'd still rather he be playing then sitting in the press box every game.
-
Just sucks we're going to burn a year on his ELC when it seems apparent the coaching staff does not feel he's ready. But if the alternative is Russia then get this guy in the lineup and keep him here. Also, great work GCOE.
-
Wow. Ok, I guess that's why he's still with the team and may likely continue to be with the Sabres unless they can work something out with this KHL team.
-
This is now your second post basically guaranteeing them to finish last. As bad as they are, X makes a good point that there are a few other really really bad teams this year. The only way this torture pays off is if we win the CHL. Runner up gets you know where. I therefore sure hope you are right.

I think he's full out lost his job there. It's a 3 head committee now and I think he's at the bottom on the totem pole. Surprised he got the goose egg though.
