If you haven't been stressed yet then you haven't really been onboard yet. The stress is worse than any playoff race I can remember.... I haven't really watched the Yotes play but reading comments from those that do, I don't think they have been giving no effort. In fact, I heard they played the Ducks pretty darn tough two nights ago. The game was 2-1 and the shots were tied with 14 min left in the game. One of the Yotes main problems is their goaltending is horrendous. But that's different than the players not trying. With a guy like Shane Doan on the team I refuse to believe their players are just giving up.

Agreed. NHL or AHL I just want him playing a bunch down the stretch. Based on his waiver eligibility he's with the big club next season. I'm fine with giving him some minutes up here now to continue his acclimation but I'd rather he be down in Roch if he's playing 6 minutes a night up here. -

I don't want Crouse at 3 whatsoever. But if there is any GM who would (over?)value Crouse I would think it could be TM. He fits the exact mold of guys he continues to bring into the organization. If we pick 3 I believe it's Hannifin but if Edmonton and Arizona pass us and the lottery bumps us down to 4, I would not be surprised at all to see him be the pick. If we draft outside of the top two it's going to be a long two months between the lottery and the draft.

The pick and a prospect sounded nice. A 2016 7th and this prospect? Not so much. Oh well, what else could we expect for Mitchell?

Only thought is if we get McEichel we will hopefully improve drastically and maybe flirt with a playoff spot next year. Then the following season they will be potential contenders and want that pick to move at the deadline?

I honestly think TM thought it would hurt the tank. A 5th isn't worth Pysyk and McCabe coming back and winning a bunch of games down the stretch.
