That's fair but my point still holds true that I have an easier ability to identifying mid round QB then identifying midround RB :P As I said, I'll go with majority. Our league will have some pretty high scoring games being PPR and if we move to 6 point QB TD's.

See I'm the opposite. I've drafted QB early once or twice and am always disappointed. I feel like I'm ALWAYS scrambling for RB's when I do that. If I go get my stud RB and WR in first couple of rounds (usually 2 high end RB if I can) then I feel confident. I agree with you that it is somewhat difficult to gauge the 8th best running back. But it's way harder to gauge the 14th best running back which is likely who you will be selecting as your RB2. There are always QB's late that are serviceable for you in a 4TD QB league IMO. I do usually play in 10 team leagues so in a 12 team you are looking at lower end starters if you wait until the very end to pick them. But in my 10 team last year I got Brady late in one league. I just find I can evaluate QB that can work for me easier then evaluating late round running backs and constantly scouring the waiver wire for them. Just a different philosophy which makes this game fun.

Fair enough. Not to give away my secrets but I thought I always could gain a competitive advantage by waiting to draft a QB. I would borderline laugh at anyone taking Rogers in the first round etc. as it was wayyy too early for a QB. Now these ppl will be rewarded.....

I'd have to vote no to 2 qb, 6 td or defensive players. But I don't want to be authoritative so if a great majority want any then I can make the change. But I suspect we will get most of the same people joining as last year and it was voted down last offseason. Full of excuses today aren't you TBG :nana:

However, just want to throw out there that I will be running the 3rd Annual Sabrespace Fantasy Football League again this year. 15' Winner - JuJu Fish 14' Winner - TrueBlue If you were in the league last year you are automatically in again this season if you want to continue. Please confirm with me if you want in again over the next couple of weeks. Extended from last year Neo and Deluca are the first two on the wait list if anyone wants to drop out. I want everyone to stay but please only join again if you are willing to run your team all season and not just draft and forget about it. The great thing about this league is how difficult it is due to how active and competitive everyone is. Also, I feel like the rule change to PPR last year went well. However, I'm open to suggested changes if anyone wants to throw anything out there. If I remember correctly, 6 point TD, 2 QB and Keeper were all voted down last year. Anyways, just wanted to Welcome everyone back and hope for another fun season full of bragging rights. I have to do better then the past two years don't I?!

Those two will be expected to drive that top line this year. I think their line put up the most points even last tourney. Will be fun to watch this Christmas.

Ya I'm not so sure about Montreal either. Longer term I think the Subban for Weber trade was dumb. Also, we've seen what quality of team Montreal is if Price goes down. But if healthy, they may be our toughest competition for that 3rd divisional spot this year.

I don't think I would like to see this. I love Nylander skill and potential but he needs a Sam Reinhart OHL/AHL year to build up some muscle to survive in the NHL IMO. Only a prospect game but what I saw there and what I saw of him in the O, I don't think he's physically there to be thrown in the NHL. Longer term (read a year or two from now) I think he's going to be a hell of a top 6 skill forward.

Ya I like Nelson but would prefer he spend a year in the AHL playing bigger minutes then a potential 7th D. Not sure Franson's status TBO. That's even more frightening. I know Fowler is available but I would rather add an equivalent RHD at this point in time.

Is anyone else hoping we can move a forward (ie Girgensons type player) for a RHD rather than a LHD? Now that Kulikov is in the fold, I'm actually ok with our left side. Cody Franson is a pylon and he's slated as a probable starter on the right. Throw in Bogo missing 20 games which will most likely happen and all of a sudden we look pretty weak on the Right side IMO.
