Agreed that Rex is a tool but the Bills are still lacking in talent. The Sabres D is awful but you have one of the best players in the NHL right now. He's leading the league in points by a good margin since February 1st. They've won one of their last 8 games. That's like Rex having Aaron Rogers at QB and going 8-8.....

DDB says a couple of weeks ago that 'he would bench Jack if he wasn't turning the puck over 5 times a game.' He turns it over once in the first period and there's a benching. WTF?

At this point Bylsma has way more justification for being fired than Rex.

This is getting to be unreal. The fanbase has completely lost faith in the coach. How can they bring him back? Ticket sales are down as it is (atleast the resale market is showing the lack of demand). DD calling out Jack? When he was the best player on the ice for either team?? If Jack played exactly how Dan wanted this team would rarely score more than 1 goal a game. Kind of like when he missed the first 20 games!!!

Very hard to imagine. This is crunch time and we've won 1 of our last 7 games. With three of them coming against 2 of the worst teams in the league.

I agreed with much of this up until the bolded. In the later rounds I would still go BPA but I'm not as concerned. But the first round especially there is a big difference (read drop off) with each pick of the top players. It's easy to say well if they had the same player ranked as equal. No. These are two different players, I need a GM figuring out who is going to be better regardless of position. I don't know how you could possibly defend the position today that we are better off with Sergachev vs. Nylander.

Agreed. WTF Tim. How on earth do you not see this isn't working? He should have been fired after Robin publically stated guys are tuning out the coach. Our record is crap. Our possession metrics are epically crap. What is the hold up here????

DDB had Reinhart playing third line winger and the team blew YET ANOTHER two goal lead! How the ###### is Dan still the coach? I haven't directed too much of the blame at GMTM yet but his acceptance of this coach is changing my mind. It is obvious there is discontent between the players and coach. It is obvious he isn't getting the best out of this group. How is he still here? Is it because Pegula is afraid he will look bad since he fired Rex a year and a half into his 5 year deal? Why are we even giving these coaches 5 year deals?

Is Sam really practicing on the third line as a winger?! Are you kidding me. I'm so done with this coach. Even if it isn't the lines you use in the game, Sam should atleast be practicing as third line centre.

I haven't read the actual CBA but from the articles I've read discussing it you have until August 15th the year after he graduates from college. So I'm almost positive he would still be an RFA this summer. At this point he's a pretty high end prospect (our best goalie prospect?) and therefore I would have thought we would have heard more last summer since he wasn't signed.

Really? I thought he had to go back for one more year before he becomes a Vessey? Ya I don't think this is right. A player must play 4 full seasons of college to become a UFA. This is Cal's third season. That's why there will be a big push for Murray to sign him this summer.
