Training camp opens up in about 1 month. Does a deal get finalized before camp breaks? June 28th - News report that preliminary discussion have begun between Jack and Sabres July 5th - McDavid signs 8 year $100 mil deal August 2nd - Reported the sides are still negotiating an 8 year deal I know these things take time. Nobody else is curious what these sticking points may be? It's been a month and a half of negotiations. I really hope this doesn't extend into training camp.

Cautiously optimistic. I'm in that same boat. I've mentioned to my wife a couple of times how I think he's going to be great. She says haven't you said that about a few other prospects who didn't work out. True point. Cautiously optimistic it is.

My apologies for posting this in the redesign thread. I was unaware the redesign had no change on the forums. So here is my issue: Within each thread I cannot use the 'quick reply' or quoting features. I am, however, able to reply by clicking on 'more reply options' and then typing what I want and hitting 'add reply.' However, I now do not have the ability to quote anyone and I also don't see any options to add the default list of emoticons. Do you have any idea what is going on? I would assume if nobody else has brought this up then maybe just a problem on my end? I'm using a desktop computer and have never had this issue before.

My apologies, I thought I was providing feedback. I can no longer use the 'reply' feature within a thread (desktop version). Wouldn't that be something you would want to know if it's affecting multiple users and likely occurred based on the redesign?

No, sorry should have mentioned this is on desktop. Unfortunately, along with having to push the button to load a new page to reply, I also lose the ability to quote anyone.
