It would be ridiculous sending him down if he’s near a point a game still by then. But just or more importantly is he seems to be playing a strong defensive game and is very strong positionally. Unless he goes through a big slump or gets hurt it seems hard to imagine he’s going back down. He’s done everything asked of him and has looked impressive doing it.

I go to as many as I can. Committing 41 nights to anything in life is difficult but get to as many as possible.

Agreed. Our seats are in 300s but it’s front row. Preseason tickets sold quickly. Would have thought for season ticket price (now even less) they would have went quick. Still time I suppose…..

Looking at ticketmaster its nowhere near looking like a sellout.

I have my tickets listed for Tuesday and Thursday at a $10 loss from my season ticket price (more when you consider the fees Ticketmaster charges). Price is $40 cheaper then the unsold Sabres tickets beside us and they still haven’t sold. I guess this is what it’s like being a Sabres season ticket holder especially early in the season 🤡

I’m not sure I’m ready to proclaim Power’s ceiling at this point in the game. I’m with you that it’s very likely Dahlin always stays a level ahead of Power but he was darn good last year and excited to see where his game can go. Those transition passes were a thing of beauty (obviously Dahlin is a master at those long stretch passes also). Glad we have both.

Probably discussion for another thread but I just looked up Auston Matthews extension and it’s 4 years at $13.25 mil per season. Not the same position so tough to compare but I’m very happy with the contract.

It’s still very surprising the only adds on D were Clifton and old man johnson. Nobody else brought in to pair with Levi. Seems like this team is just ready to take off with one or two big moves. Frustrating either the Sabres don’t see it or cost of acquisition was too high. Let’s see how it goes. If it goes poorly how long will KA take to adjust his plan?

That’s what killed them last year in regular season matchup in Buffalo. Wasn’t all the leaf fans in attendance. It was UPL whiffing on two longer, routine shots that went in. This team is ready to sore with league average goaltending. KA refuses to address such a glaring need. Yes Levi looks great but do you really plan on starting him 55+ games in his rookie year and expect there to be enough in the tank come playoffs? Someone not named Devin Levi will have to play probably 35 to 40 games and that scares the hell out of me.

Dang. Sounds like I won't get my hopes up. Agreed that the transition to Sportsnet Plus went pretty smooth. As I now partly live in Buffalo I can tell you its much cheaper and more convenient to get the games living outside of Buffalo.

All Sabres games can be streamed in Canada via Sportsnet Plus ($250 for the season). I see they're also carrying the game tonight. Woah. Hopefully it isn't blocked as Sportsnet Plus is the only provider now I believe (use to be NHL Live).

I saw the roster for tomorrow but not the lines. Very much assumed the regular top line would reunite. They know what they have in the top line so don’t blame them. Just a little surprised they may give Benson a game with TT and Skinner. Should be fun.

I’m not sure this should matter. This is the nhl. If you’re not good enough you will get passed over. Should the expectation be he is gifted a chance before benson because of age?
