I really like the guy projected to go second (I'll butcher the spelling if I try). His numbers are elite. To me it's dahlin the consensus number one, a decent drop to two, then zadina at the top of the next tier which includes about 6 guys.
I’m not trading Dahlin for anyone (other than McDavid). Plays a position of need and from every indication is projected to be elite. Those are the guys you find at the very top of the draft if you get lucky enough.
Florida watching that 3 o'clock game between Philly and nyr. Philly wins and Florida is out and not playing for anything tonight. Rangers win and tonight's game is huge for Florida as a win out would get them in.
Great write up earlier but having zadina ahead of svechnikov is straight up shocking. What's ur thinking there? Guy is suppose to be an unreal goal scorer which we have sorely lacked. His 5on5 production is up there with very elite company when comparing numbers.
If we go D and we're not picking first it seems to be between: Boqvist, Bouchard, Hughes and Dobson. Good players but real crapshoot after the top 2 or 3.
Good read from the hockey writers. https://thehockeywriters.com/nhl-draft-ranking-april-2018/My pick for 4th overall is Adam Boqvist. I'd even really consider him at 3. http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=265684
Thanks. Considering no pick outside of two 2nd overall has played more than 16 nhl games and very few seem to be relevant or hyped (other than diehard sabres fans) I didn’t think I needed it.
You do make some good points here. Frustrating we can beat Tampa, Toronto, Boston and Nashville down the stretch and lose to the Montreal, Ottawa and Detroit’s of the world.
