I was just disappointed they never really gave him a look at wing. The best he’s looked in the last two years was playing wing at the worlds. He was a turnover machine this year and ok they’re moving on but wish we got an extended look there just to be sure.

I enjoy going with my wife and two sons. Even with the losing it’s a fun outing. Just sucks this political uncertainty. Small chance the border becomes closed or more difficult for those from southern Ontario to cross in the near future. Slim chance to be sure but still a hell of a lot higher than it was a few months ago. If not for that I would be leaning towards renewing. We will see what the next two weeks bring prior to early bird pricing deadline.

Just received an email for my STH renewal. Looks like a very small increase from last year but not by much. Still on the fence if I renew or not. Rates always go up but nice to see it wasn't a dramatic increase I suppose....Not going to make this a political thread but the thought of possible future border restrictions on Canadians and/or the state of the dollar is giving me the most hesitation to renew.

This is pretty funny. We might be the best first period team in the league but have blown so many games. This is nowhere near a team that is known for closing out a game. What are you teaching them Lindy?

No I didn’t see or hear the Pegulas being announced either. They certainly didn’t have to but thought there would have been a video segment of the ownership congratulating Rob at some point.

Thank you. Players get hurt every single year on every single team. The Sabres will inevitably run into injuries next season too. If we’re depending on every player staying healthy all season we’re already cooked. I like Greenway but this is no franchise savior and better not be some excuse for how poor this season has gone.

Good info in the post above. Don’t Vancouver fans complain he is soft, disappears for stretches, and has injury history? An $11.6 mil cap hit for the next 7 years? Not sure what I’m missing here? I respect @Brawndo hockey knowledge and opinions but I really don’t get what others see here. Enormous risk without even considering the package we give up to acquire him. I know we suck again. I know we’re boring and want them to do something but man this seems like a ton of long term risk.

That was easily the most fun I’ve had at a Sabres game all season.

Our core is already in place (or it had better be). I will never cheer for losses again. Winning and developing this group is more important than the 5th vs 10th OA pick. Go Sabres!! Entertain us at home for a ***** change…..

I think it was even before that, more like the start of the third. They came out and started the period on the power play and almost gave up a shortie immediately because they looked scared. Deer in the headlights look. Up 4-1 to start the third. Like wtf is going on here???

Good sign Tage took the trip out west. Bad sign he went out for team skate a couple of days ago and still can't go. Hopefully he's back next game in Buffalo. Season is a marathon, no sense rushing it.

He did. And he’s looking way better than he did earlier in the year. I thought for sure he was going to score tonight with all of the chances.

That was the best (third) period I’ve seen out of Cozens in a very long time. He needs to bring that more often.
