Hope this is the game that gets rid of DB.

As much as I dont like DB's system and complacent attitude, if Jack and Kane were healthy all year i think we'd have the wc spot right now. Were one head coach and a top four dman away from playoffs imo. I still trust in GMTMs plan also. He even said this year's trade deadline was a "speedbump" and he wanted to "get younger". I think next year we reach the playoffs. My concern is when will we have a team that can go deep into the playoffs? I think thats what were not close to.

Admittedly its highly unlikely but theoretically if NYI lose their next few games, we keep the streak going, and toronto loses a few were right back where we were right before the bye. Just need help from other teams.

Who knows, hopefully toronto will lose tonight.

I saw on the pregame today a recent video of DB discussing the losses after our by week and he called it part of the "process". Hes complacent.

Well that was embarrassing.

I would. We have no idea what Kane's longevity plans are after he becomes UFA.

I really would have liked to have seen more of a passionate response from DB last night after that loss. Not necessarily a Tortorella blow up but a little bit of urgency would be nice.

I don't understand that trade at all; look at Dushene's career numbers. Sam is younger with more potential and is already putting up similar numbers. And a first round draft pick too? I wouldn't even trade them straight up for each other.
