Bye bye leafs!

I've never seen so many overtime games, not that I'm complaining. They just said it record 18 games in the first round going to overtime. Reallllly need the leafs to lose here to cap off an awesome day of playoff hockey.

Yeah I noticed that too. Haven't seen Ovi flying around hitting people either. They better start putting the pedal to the metal here and kill Toronto off before they're forced into a game 7.

NHL Tonight had a 5 minute segment on it the day of our red wedding. It got significant coverage nation wide in print too. Not every day a GM and HC gets releieved of their duties on the same day. It was rather savage lol.

Toronto is looking good at like every single face off it seems.

Haha yes true. My brother is a bruins fan so me and him go back and forth quite a bit about the rivalry. Imagine if Toronto gets bounced out tonight on home ice? Boston and Toronto both eliminated, first round, both on home ice, back to back. We deserve this after the season we went through lol.

We have, were 2-6 all time against them in the playoffs. Beat them first round in 93 and second round in 99.

I still remember the calls in our 2010 playoff series against them; it was Sabres vs Bruins, refs and NHL.

If they ranked him #8 U21 then OP has a legitimate gripe. Based on ppg Jack is easily top 5 forward under 21.

He was good durrung contract years ????. I actually saw one of his hat trick games in buffalo before (against islanders IIRC).

8th best player in the league is way too generous imo. And he's my favorite current NHL player. #8 best forward maybe, still a bit generous. Another year or so though yeah absolutely.

Really hope the sens finish off boston today. Still weird seeing stafford as a bruin. Hoping for Ottawa and Washington wins today to put away my two most disliked teams.

In other news, USA U18 team just beat Finland for the Gold. Pretty cool.

I agree but as far as daily league wide highlights are concerned, NHL Tonight and On the Fly can't be beat. It also has some really cool countdown series as well. Also awesome on draft day (tsn coverage feed) and trade deadline every year. Not to mention all the IIHF coverage every year. Biased yes but darn good channel for puck heads.

Above all else I'm glad he is going to be okay. Aside from that though, is he still going to be playing come next October or is this a career ender?
