I said Antipin is a skilled LHD, we will need those (meaning left handed defense men) if Kulikov and Gorges are gone. I want Antipin because he is skilled, we will need LHD. Sorry if that wasn't clear. I would never describe Gorges as skilled bwahaha!

Some good points. My reasoning is that he is a skilled LHD (we will be low on those if Kulikov and Gorges are gone) with proven offensive capability in both the regular season and in big moments in the very skilled KHL. Other NHL teams were also interested in him. I think he will be a solid piece for us.

By your logic Karlsson's success in the NHL is not reality because of his size. If you're going to debate me please display basic reading comprehension skills.

Eh, for how many games though, like 3? We've seen very little of Guhle so far, Antipin is well established in the KHL. The KHL is arguably the second best league in the world.

I think you're right, coming from the KHL he wouldn't need to be protected but i'm not sure. All I can find online is first and second year "professionals" are exempt, but I don't know what leagues that entails other than north america.

Small world! I was born and raised in Troy. My Uncle Denny graduated from RPI, went on to work for NEC for a number of years. His son, my cousin worked for Apple for a long time and now teaches at Emerson College. My alma mater is also in Troy; Hudson Valley Community College, aka Harvard on the Hudson lol.

You guys are lucky to have rochester, and looks like JB will be improving them. We (albany and glens falls) just lost our AHL teams it stinks. All we have left is ECHL and RPI and Union.
