In 2013-2014 ROR had 28 goals at lw on the Duchene line. Hes an awesome NHL lw.

He did well for Avs at lw in 2013. He transitions to it very well. No dropoff long term.

Because ROR plays just fine at lw, and can still have faceoffs. Sam is who we are wasting not ROR. ROR can play either. He does great at lw in both the nhl and internationally. You talk as if he doesnt.

How can I convince anyone if he's not given a substantial chance at 2C? That's exactly what I'm advocating for. Can't prove it to you without trying it.

He needs a HC that is willing to spend the games to go through the growing pains of him transitioning to center at the nhl level.

I don't think the last two training camps had anything to do with DB keeping him stuck on wing. Especially considering all the reports of how much he improved two years ago from his rookie camp.

The idea of trading Sam before we ever gave him the chance to play center on this team is beyond premature imo. We have assets to trade; Kane and #8.

ROR is actually my second favorite current Sabre behind Jack, I just want him at lw.

But ROR is an established winger, that's how he plays in international tournaments. Sam needs to be our second line center eventually or were wasting him.

Have to do it sometime or another. Wish DB did it last year as that would have been perfect but it's my understanding that ROR was signed as a short term center, long term wing. Jack and Sam was the 1-2 centers, or so the thought process was.

Fair enough. My obsession though stems from rumors with an LA trade which started a couple months ago. Ever since I've been looking at their roster for what we can get from them. Forbort seems like a good dman. Not a puck moving d like we need but still a good one.

No offense but you're over valuing Kane s trade value; we only have one year left on him. Not getting a top pairing dman for him.

I'd do Kane and #8 for Forbort and #11.
