Convinced my wife for us to get Sling; she gets HGTV and I get NHL Network. I stream Sabres games off Reddit in my laptop so having some hockey on the big screen again will be a treat. We’ve been doing Dave Ramsey.

I’m all ears for the dinner suggestions. 716 is good and convienant but the last two years it gave me diarrhea. Also last season was there during the Bills playoff game (had already scheduled weeks in advance) right after our Sabres game and it was NUTS. More power to them, but prefer a more chill laid back place.

When things get back to normal you have to make the trip. We travel once a year from the opposite side of the state and it's always a blast; stay at the Harborcenter, get 716 for dinner.

Hall said in a recent interview that they (Hall and Skinner) played golf together recently, so there's that.

Overall very good day today, at 6 points out we got a nice shot in the arm today on both trades.

Great rental; at the very least it will make us a bit tougher and therefor more palatable to watch.

Might get some push back for this, but it really feels like ever since Terry bought the Bills, the Sabres have been an after thought. As someone who doesn't care about the NFL, that is really annoying.

So long as we continue to watch all the games etc, I doubt they care. We've never been the darling of the league, even with our #1 in the US TV ratings.

Agreed. I remember thinking that by 2020 we would be consistently deep in the playoffs for a couple seasons already.

Exactly, we're in this to deep now. No way are we stripping down like that again. Even in a season like this (not giving up btw) at least we have three elite talents to watch when healthy.

I won't be there but I'll always root against them; they were our Adirondack team in Glens Falls. It's a shame they didn't stay. Glens Falls is a wonderful hockey town.
