Good points, though I would just pull the trigger on Fubo as hockey is all but certain IMO. Also blackout restrictions are the worst; I’m in the opposite side of the state and still in Sabres territory. There are five NHL teams that are geographically closer yet the Sabres are still blacked out. I wish Center Ice would take my money.

Fubu has it and I believe ATT (or whatever DirectV is called now) might have it too but Sling is by far the cheapest. All that is missing is MSG obviously but that’s what NHL66 is for. Sling gets you NHL Network and NBCSN.

May I suggest Sling? $44 after tax and that includes the added on sports tier which comes with NHL Network and NBC Sports as well.

Including when it’s checking from behind, into the boards? An open ice caruba collision doesn’t exactly send the same deterrent factor. I’m a big IIHF fan, but let’s face it... the NHL is more physical.

The question is will it increase, not how we feel about fighting. Though I suppose it was inevitable that this thread went in this direction.

They definitely still let them play in the playoffs, which is why a team still needs to be physical and have size. Still remember the embarrassment that was 2011 against the Flyers; they kept screening our net and there was nothing we could do about it.

Our new division looks absolutely brutal. Even NYR look improved as well. Every source I’ve seen projects us at 7th and NJ at 8th.

I think a rise in fighting is inevitable for this one off shortened season. These teams will be playing each other so often I think it’s unavoidable.

When should we realistically expect to see the schedule released?

With teams having to play each other so frequently, I’m thinking we will see an uptick in fighting in this shortened season. Not saying that’s a good thing or a bad thing, but it would make sense that this would happen. Lots of potential carry over.

Man, college football is the best. Promised my wife I would stop following it as juggling hockey and baseball is already enough as it is. CFB was consuming my entire Saturdays.

Really wish EA would bring an NHL game to Switch. It has the user base, can’t see why they won’t.

I was supposedly going to get the vaccine in the next two weeks, but now that the Governor has announced that EMS is not tier 1 and longer, I have no idea how that impacts fire depts. Though if they aren’t getting it, can’t see that we would (nor should we ahead of them).
