Other than Comrie, not sure how you paint a good picture on the defensive play in the 3rd period. We have up 23? shots, McDavid missed the net many times in close, which was lucky for us, we couldn't do much at all the entire 3rd period. It's surprising that we held on.

Oilers had numerous great scoring opportunities in the 3rd, Kane had a bunch in close, McDavid had a few, Draisatl had one pretty much on the goalline. If that was the strategy is was a bad decision.

They had a good first period, excellent 2nd period and were totally dominated in the 3rd.

Joe Crozier was/is one of my all-time favorite Sabres. The 72-73 season was a significant year for the Sabres , the first to make the playoffs and the amazing OT winner by Robert in game 5 of the playoffs in the Forum. He instilled the fire and passion into the team that eventually made it to the finals under Floyd Smith. In my opinion he's one the most important members of this franchise for those early years he was part of the organization. I had the opportunity to meet him some years back and his enthusiasm in talking hockey was electric. It was really a big deal for me and a great memory. He had a huge Sabres banner in front of his house during our last 'glory years' in the early 2000's, he was always a big fan and lived in Buffalo for decades. Not sure why this thread isn't getting more action, maybe many here are too young to remember him, honestly I was expecting a big thread and am a bit disappointed in the lack of reaction.

No, Hulu and Hulu + are different. I have espn+ here is AZ and it's great. It has almost every game for every team, college BB(I'm a Bona fan, watched most of their games), college FB... it's a great deal, plus Disney is great too. Either channel is worth the price, getting both is a real bargain.

Why should he get a front office or coaching position? Does he know how to coach? What are his skills that would help in the front office? I like Okposo, but he's been mostly a non factor here while earning millions. Does the team really owe him future employment? I wonder if other teams have so much fan base discussion about naming a team captain. It really seems over the top.
