Can't remember which he was favoring but he went down like a rock. Would be shocked if it wasn't his left knee again. -

Can't really blame Lehner, he's coming back from a pretty major injury for a goalie. But I can blame DB for not playing Pysyk, who he himself said makes the team play better, and our currently inept offense. Not doing Lehner any favors with goal support. We seriously need some PP work. -
Definitely a no for me as well.

GMTM verified on his WGR interview that the decision to sit Pysyk is all on DB, and it not necessarily a decision he agrees with. Says he doesn't think game to game momentum should come in to play here, and maybe that he feels like it doesn't even exist. In game yes, game to game no. -
I have a hard time imagining a trade that I want Risto involved in at all. I value him just as much as anyone on the team.
-
Every time I see mention of Reinhart being traded I die a little inside.
-
Who do you think is leaving specifically? I'm interested in names personally.
-
That's definitely not the GM we have. The team, GMTM included, wants the #1 depth chart goalie back to see what he's made of. If they kept Lehner in the AHL for the weekend, and Ullmark plays well tomorrow and Saturday, then what? Does Lehner ride the bench until Ullmark has a bad game? Lehner was #1 coming in to the season. An injury isn't going to and shouldn't cost him that spot, poor play is. Has nothing to do with an ego. This is the best thing for both goalies in my opinion. Lehner deserves a chance to prove himself, and Ullmark's natural talent is undeniable but giving him an opportunity to smooth out the rougher edges in the AHL will be really good for him.
-
Gretzky was also named head coach of a pretty poor team. Ed Reed is working with an already talented secondary, could be a great mentor for those guys, and as great a player as he was he was never dirty. I think he's more in a mentor position than strictly a coaching one.
-
Ed Reed brought on as Bills DB coach, how can you not like this move?
-
13 tickets and not even 1 matching number

My dream scenario would be Lehner having a great second half of the season, while Ullmark dominates the AHL. Then during the offseason GMTM makes his choice about our goalie of the future and the other guy gets traded when his stock is at an all time high. I wouldn't be mad about Lehner being traded after using a 1st rounder as long as we get good value. I think one of those guys has to be our future #1, with CJ has a very competent backup. But from what I've seen of Lehner and Ullmark I like Linus' upside way more at this point.

Ullmark has really blown me away. I think when he develops his game just a bit in Rochester he can come in a crush the NHL. I'll be looking for him to challenge Lehner next year.

Dropped $20 on ten tickets yesterday. I've spent $20 on dumber things in my life.

Myers with a cross check to the neck down 1 with 7 minutes left tonight. Picked up a 5 minute major and a game misconduct, guaranteeing the Jets would be shorthanded down 1 goal until just 2 minutes left in the game. Meanwhile Kane and Bogo both played very well tonight if you ask me. I'll take this trade 100 times out of 100.

ROR with another clutch faceoff win, and Ullmark with some fantastic saves tonight. The future is definitely bright for him. Also, Tyler Myers got a 5 minute major and a game misconduct for a cross check to the back of the head tonight, possible suspension incoming? -

Vanek looks completely lost out there, and Pommers has been completely invisible except for that blown breakaway. I love it. -

Man, Foligno has so many horrible plays and giveaways tonight. Kane and Bogo both looking good, that Winnipeg win could be exactly what the doctor ordered for those two and this team. -

Great puck handling by Kane there, beautiful battles long the wall. Maybe the monkey is off his back now with the win in Winnipeg? -

I disagree. I'm one of the newest posters on here and I enjoy the conversations I've had with people. Oasis made valid points, as did others. The entire conversation was cordial and seemed like the exact kind of conversation you would join a board like this to have. Not anyone else's fault that he flamed out and left. I'd say it was just an overreaction to good banter personally.
