As far as i know Jack is playing that role you want him to play, and this is why our powerplay is more successful now than before, because of Victor Olofsson. This example below is just how beautiful it can be if played right. Reinhart actually does a good job infront of the goal aswell. Risto is probably the only one we have that can do the same job infront of the net when it comes to our d-men. Having Jack on the left and Victor on the right gives us such a lethal powerplay, they both have a very accurate slapshot, it actually blows my mind how lethal they are together, we have "ovie" to the left and "ovie" to the right. If we can find them the perfect fit (maybe hall?) we will most likely see one of the most lethal setups we've had since i dont know.. speaking of 5 vs 5. Back to powerplay though, this just speak for it self. Gives me goosebumps watching how they read eachother, they are a perfect fit. Jack sets it up so beautiful and Victor read Jack like a glove.

Some ppl can just step right in, no need for AHL. Some need AHL to translate for sure. I would be fine to have him practice with the boys and play some minutes, would also be fine with 20 games in AHL. He is a good player.

Hate is a strong word, but this has nothing to do with that. Bring something more useful to the conversation instead, why would you remove one of the most lethal powerplay weapon we've had in a long long time?

Imagine if we could land Mikael Granlund also.. send Sam away + Hutton, then capspace isnt a problem, then again we need a goalie to if Hutton is told to go fly.

Now Taylor Hall give this team a complete new dimension. I would really concider lifting up Kyle to play with Jack and Victor. He did really well with John Tavares. How he reacts when oposit team score, how he reacts when he is the fault of them scoring, i dont know how to explain it other than i just see (in my opinion) the dislike of this team in his eyes, to me it looks like he never believes.

Maybe it has to do with how we see players as they are. I have never liked Sam and he should have been sent away long time ago. He is trash imo, not because of his skills but how he acts on the ice, literally trash. To be honest i fkn dislike him so much that i wouldnt even put him on my 4th line if i was in charge. Sam does not deserve to be on Jacks wing, Victor does. Edit: And yes, my opinions really dont matter in this case but just saying 🙂

Olofsson should be on Eichles wing.

Why would they not, they have 2 of the best players in the legue for quite some years to come. Why not go all in a go win a ***** cup.

Markstrom is @ his peak, it would be just foolish to not go with him, in my opinion. He is 30 yes, but he has atleast 4 more years at a very high level, but maybe this was the issue, he wanted maybe 5-6 years and Van only 3. No clue, still big shame for Van. Jakob Markstrom has a very strong ability to adapt to games not going the right way, he is for sure the reason they could get to where they have been last couple of years.

Ohh, yea was just curious. Allthough it amazes me that Van does not believe in Markstrom enough, guy is a tremendous goalie.
