Johnny Gaudreau and Brother Matthew Killed by Drunk Driver
Swedish Bikini Team replied to aristocrat's topic in The Aud Club
I don’t know. Maybe they took it out for a joyride after the rehearsal dinner? They both were obviously fit so it’s possible the two of them could operate it together. I have never been in one so I have no idea how many riders are needed. -

https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/41053342/blue-jackets-winger-johnny-gaudreau-brother-matthew-die ESPN reports that the police referred to Johnny and Matthew as “pedalcyclists” which I suppose means they were actually riding a pedalcycle and not bicycling. This would make some sense considering they were there for their sister’s wedding and a pedacycle might be at the rehearsal dinner or other wedding event. A terrible tragedy nonetheless. -
Fanatics will be the new Official Jersey Provider for the NHL
Swedish Bikini Team replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
On the plus side, retail authentic jerseys for fans will now be made in Canada at the same facility as the ones for the players (instead of Indonesia). -
I have purchased from sportsk.com in the past and they are a legit vendor with great pricing. You can google their name to find out how Fanatics is destroying their business.

Honestly, if you get the sleeves hemmed the 50 doesn’t look bad.

Typically, the most noticeable differences between the replica and authentic retail jerseys are: Sizing: Replica (L) vs Authentic (52) Fight Strap: Replica (none) vs Authentic (sewn inside) Customization: Replica (Heat pressed numbers and crest) vs Authentic (Sewn on) Weight: Replica is a lighter weight material than the Authentic Tagging: Replica (Fanatics tag on the outside) vs Authentic (No Fanatics tag) 50th Anniversary Crest: Replica (As mentioned, no texture) vs Authentic (Embroidered like the on ice product) While the quality may be different, the colors should be the same or very similar between the two. Bootleg jerseys will attempt to replicate the Authentic (Sizing, Fight Strap, Sewn, Etc...). As far as how they look, YMMV.

I usually have the opposite problem with buying shirts where the sleeves are too short. I know it's an extra expense but going to a quality tailor to get the arms hemmed should be a simple fix. I own some game used jerseys where the players have had this done.

Personally, I've found buying one size up fits best. I'm 6'2" and say 200 lbs depending on what I had for dinner. In my everyday life I wear a size L in most shirt styles (I like a more fitted look) which equates to a size 52. With the Adidas jerseys I'll buy a size 54 (XL). It's a little loose but I'm not swimming in it. It also allows room for a sweatshirt or jacket underneath. The players probably wear 2 sizes up on the ice to account for pads (granted they don't have guts). E-Rod is listed at 5'11" 184 lbs but wears a size 54 on the ice. Eichel is listed at 6'2" 203 lbs and wears a 56. Risto is 6'4" 220 lbs and wears a 58. Hope this helps.

Definitely. Luckily I'm married as I don't think this would make for great first date banter. However, some people may care to know if the $200-$300 jersey they just purchased is the same as the players wear while others couldn't care less and are happy to save money on one purchased from DHgate. Others may just want to know how the new jerseys fit in comparison with ones they bought back in 2007. Don't even get me started on customization. There's a big difference in buying the same customized jersey from the NHL shop versus the Sabres directly or a site like Ice Jerseys. I'll stop there before you have me committed.

True, I forgot about those. Reebok’s were made in Canada between 2005-2010. Adidas purchased Reebok in 2006 and started putting their name on NHL jerseys during the 2017-18 season.
