I agree on Samuelsson being too high for my taste. I would have him below everyone else listed in the top 10 as well as behind Asplund, Laaksonen, and Pekar.

I don’t think it’s paramount, but you need to evaluate the players as individuals. Half of the middle six was decent 3rd line players, the other half was guys who played like they shouldn’t be in the league. Together, the middle 6 was garbage, but not every player in the middle 6 is garbage.

Turris is going to be 30 already. $6M per for his ages 30-34 seasons? 5 more years? After he just had a terrible season? I don’t like it at all. He doesn’t fit as a veteran short term stop gap, or as a long term roster piece. I just don’t think he fits.
