UPL with a good game. Only let three in. I'm all in for Levi against Florida.

Great game. What a refreshing sight to see what a real goalie looks like. Not one soft goal was let in. Kept the team in it with just two goals allowed. Any of our other goalies and we lose this 4-2. I will also give credit to the team for playing good defense in front of Levi

Great game, was not expecting that out of Comrie.

Their goalie stopped 6 out of 8 point blank shots. Ours only stopped 2 out of 8. There's your difference. Our team plays a much different and I would contend much better hockey game if our goalie stopped 6 out of 8.

Honest question. How many games have we lost because of goaltending this year? 2-3, 6-8, more? We are close enough to the playoffs that almost any amount would put us in the playoffs. I know we need defense help but I'm just focusing on goaltending. Just one player could have made a huge difference. Also I know even good goalies have bad games and cost games but I'm talking about losses above what average goaltending would do. I think we're in the 6-8 games lost solely because of poor goaltending.

At about 10 minutes left in the game after a couple of great saves by Anderson Dunleavy said "you aren't going to get far in this league without great goaltending." Next season will be KA's 4th season at trying to fix the goaltending situation. He better get it right this time. Just imagine if we had this caliber goaltending as tonight all season we wouldn't be wondering if we can make the playoffs we would already be in a playoff spot.

I'm not going to say it.... Yes I am. It would have been really nice if we had picked up a couple of defensemen before the trade deadline. You can't praise KA for sticking to "the plan" and then gripe when we lose games because we have crappy players as backups.

Granted, they did play good defense today as well.

Amazing what great goaltending does for this team. Just wish we had it more consistently. Maybe Comrie is turning the corner. We can hope right.

To the bold. Unfortunately most of the teams around us have been adding players for the playoff push. It's just sad for the team and the fans that KA hasn't made much of an effort to help this team make the playoffs. It might be different if we had made the playoffs a couple of times in the past 11 years but since we haven't, it makes it more imperative that he make a trade that will improvethis team. Unfortunately there probably isn't much left out there that could help us. As someone up thread mentioned, we don't know the future, we may not be this close to making the playoffs next year (we should be but you never know). When you are as close as we are, you have to make some sort of effort to make it in.

And some holes have been here for longer than that. GOALIE!!! I've been advocating for that one for a couple of years at least. Anderson just can't handle to much of the workload.

After the game rob Ray gave the shots on goal and score for each team. Then proceeded to say that UPL played a good game. I'm sorry but in what universe is 4 goals on 28 shots playing a good game. Granted they all aren't on him but even if you give him 2. Then 2 goals on 28 shots is still not good. The only reason UPL has a winning record is because we are currently the second highest goal scoring team in the league.

We know injuries are going to happen and we knew we were/are short on depth in all areas. So it would have been nice if KA had addressed this in the off-season. Instead we are filling wholes with borderline nhl talent today.

Well crap. This is where KA's lack of forward vision is going to hurt us for sure. I will be shocked if he makes a move by the deadline. He has been to slow on the reaction to a need. Goaltending case in point.

I think Vinnie is the right call. Play hard and fast and I think the caps will start lagging in the third. Let's go buffalo

Yeah, but he's only good for every fourth game or so. We need to fix the other three.

Please KA for the love of Pete, fix the goaltending. This is just a taste of what could be.

I feel Anderson gives us the best chance to win this one. And that's kinda sad. Sure wish we had a true number one goalie that could take over and win crucial games. I know, beating a dead horse.

I think the reffs could have easily called bush for hooking. I think they let it slide to make up for the missed call on okie.
