  1. You need to contact your leasing company and verify what their policy is on transfers/assumptions. Some banks will not allow you to transfer your lease.
  2. For those who are interested in collectibles, Sammy Watkins will be a part of McFarlane Toys NFL 35.
  3. Depending on the talent that Ennis will possibly be playing with? I think you can count on 15-20 goals about 40 points low end. High end? 20-25 goals 50-60 points in a single season. IMO, if Ennis is in the Sabres top 6 than the Sabres aren't were we all want to see them at as a franchise in the coming years. Ennis is a decent talented player, I'm not trying to drill on the guy. My end high end hopes and expectations for all these young kids the Sabres are accumulating will hopefully slot Ennis where I mentioned, a third line winger.
  4. Congratulations Cleveland! A great American sports town that deserves a major championship. I'm not an NBA fan, I do hope the James brings Cleveland an NBA title.
  5. $4.6 average is too much for Ennis. If everything works out as planned, meaning Sabres hit on majority of these top picks, you end up paying a lot of money for a smallish third line winger. It shouldn't be a problem cap wise considering most of the top young talent the Sabres hope to have over the next few years will be on entry level contracts or bridge contracts.
  6. This. After what this franchise did with Grigorenko, they need to tread carefully with Reinhart. Let Reinhart's play be the determining factor if he stays or heads back to junior.
  7. Why is it other teams like the Kings, Stars and Blues decide they need centers and boom they acquire centers. Bring up the idea for the Sabres and it becomes some mystical quest. I understand it's difficult, lets not pretend it's impossible.
  8. Think of the extra cap space the Sabres can use to get a center that can actually play center?
  9. We need the dues.
  10. No religion, under any circumstances, should ever trump an individual's rights or freedoms. Nor should religious beliefs ever be a determining factor in what medical procedures & medications are available to an individual. If the owners off Hobby Lobby are against abortions, great, don't have one if the occasion arises. If they are against medications that help women end unwanted pregnancies, great, don't take the medications. It is and always will be about choice. To deny choices based on religious beliefs is wrong. It is not and never has been the job of the SCOTUS to enforce religious doctrine.
  11. A reminder on this Independence Day that many in this country are not truly free to live their lives.
  12. My question is, how will the NHL Board of Governors address the Coyotes blatant "tanking" of the 2014-15 season. I can't wait til the press conference announcing the Villie Leino signing.
  13. I'm getting the same feeling. Murray said something like Ott not fitting the plans right at this time. Considering the number of forwards the Sabres have it would make sense that the plan is to move a Stafford or Hodgson out to bring Ott back.
  14. I see this as the door being opened for more challenges, narrow parameters or not.
  15. I'm not convinced that the Islanders have accomplished this with these two signings. These are not bad signings, four years may be a bit long but if probably took the four years to get the deals done. IMO, these are plan B and C signings. I can't imagine that even the Islanders went into July 1st targeting Grabovski & Kulemin. Look at the job Jim Nill is doing in Dallas. What he has done in just over a year is amazing. Pegula was late to the game on this one. At least he finally made it by hiring Tim Murray.
  16. He's 24 and his career numbers are strikingly similar to Myers. Sign him and if you can get Myers and Del Zotto turned around you have a top pairing for the next 10 years. As a UFA, you're not giving anything up except time and money. IMO, Del Zotto would be a great risk to take, it's all reward.
  17. With the offer sheet, do all the #1's have to be the Sabres own? Or do they just have to be #1 picks.
  18. Go sign Ryan O'Reilly to an offer sheet. We have the picks to do it.
  19. Am I getting greedy? After today I am still going over the list of available free agents thinking that a Radim Vrbata and a Michael Del Zotto would be a decent day two for the Sabres.
  20. The title of my autobiography. For the first time, in a long long time, today has me feeling that the Sabres are genuinely back in the game. Not that they're an instant Cup contenders or even a playoff team next season. I feel today was the first step in Buffalo becoming a destination. That in 2-3 off-seasons when the Stastny's of the NHL become UFAs Buffalo will be a consideration or when players hand in their lists of teams they don't want to be traded to that Buffalo won't be on those lists. It's almost as if today is a cleansing of past sins.
  21. There can be a huge reward here. He'll be 29 at the start of the season, he'll have a chance here to get back on track if he can stay healthy. A healthy Meszaros has a lot of value in the league. There is the possibility of great value to the Sabres, not only a chip to move, if healthy this is a guy they might want to sign next year for a longer term. This isn't a 34 year old Orpik.
  22. You guys are killing my buzz.
  23. Niskanen = Villie Leino 2.0. 40 Million for 1 good year?
  24. Well, never mind then. Thanks.
