  1. Has anyone tried Mooney's on Military Road near Sheridan? Kick ass wings and righteous mac&cheeses. Had an order of medium wings and they were great, it's been a whle since I ordered medium wings and the sauce wasn't just pure fire. Nice juicy wings with great flavor. The wife had the stuffed pepper mac&cheese which was one of the best mac&cheeses I have ever tasted and portion size would even cause Jamie Nails to hesitate. Needless to say we took a heavy container home. Great service and a very welcoming vibe, I will be heading back there again and often.
  2. Went to go see Fantastic Four last night. Bitter sweet, loved the re-telling of the origin, hated the rest of the movie. The origin part was well written and really made a lot of sense, they did a great job of taking the characters and putting a modern take on how the Fantastic Four received their powers. Unfortunately they didn't spend much time on the rest of the story and completely wasted one of the iconic super-villains in Dr. Doom. They should have left Dr. Doom for the sequel. I'm not sure why they continue to force Dr. Doom into the origin story. There should be enough there to be a stand alone origin story. My disappointment over the second half of the movie outweighs the job they did in the first half. It really seemed, IMO, that the writers could not come up with anything regarding story line beyond the origin and they just rehashed what was done in the first go around with the Fantastic Four. It reminded me of Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 where I thought he did a great job with the first half of the story and really disappointed in the second half. If you are planning to see this movie, I suggest the early morning showings at AMC which are less than $6. I wish I hadn't spent full price to see this. A movie with half a writing effort should only charge half price.
  3. Legally, she would be consider the "complainant" at this point I believe.
  4. You are talking about 90% of this boards server space.
  5. If a plea is accepted wouldn't he be wide open for a civil suit? I hate to say this, if Kane were to admit even the minimal amount of culpability it could cost him millions in a law suit not to mention lost endorsement deals.
  6. Didn't Cornelius Bennett do time because of a consensual relationship that turn non-consensual mid-act?
  7. DeLuca1776 - a god fearing, gun loving, republican/super patriot! Go Trump! :D
  8. Sexual assault/rape is the only type of crime I can think of where the victim's credibility is questioned more than the alleged perpetrator. A victim's entire sexual history is brought into question.
  9. Aud Fight! Kane's relationship status is irrelevant. And let's face it, getting women has been part of the allure of becoming a famous athlete as far back as Babe Ruth. The only two things that matter, IMO, are 1) was the woman of age for consent and 2) at any point during their liaison did the woman say "no" or "stop."
  10. We're discussing rape! :wallbash: I long for the days of a good old Kassian vs. Hodgson debate.
  11. How about a debate on whether or not the "benefit of the doubt" is ours to give. We are just spectators in all of this.
  12. Even then it might not be enough. A rape kit can't always prove a lack of consent. It can prove sex has taken place.
  13. I wouldn't consider a failure to prosecute as innocence. Fact is that rape is extremely hard to prove, it is often a he said/she said situation.
  14. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/police-kill-gunman-at-nashville-movie-theater/ar-CCvX0The most shocking part of this story is that Mad Max - Fury Road is still in theaters and that there were at least four people watching.
  15. Black Senior Advisor and Alt-Governors Matter! Too Soon? You may be on to something. I looked up Ken Sawyer on the Buffalo Sabres website and I am pretty sure the picture they have of him is the same picture that was in my new wallet a couple of years ago.
  16. Right now the Sabres have nothing in goal but hope and potential. As of today, the Stars have a level of goal-tending the Sabres can only hope for. It's like comparing the Bills QB's to that of Miami and Cincinnati. They may not have elite QB's, compared to the Bills they might as well be.
  17. If there are any teams available I'd take one.
  18. Is this correct? The Twins would have to win those two games, right now the Jays have the higher winning percentage. Can I please just point out how much better this way of determining the standings is than the NHL's ridiculous point system. You don't need anything other than wins and loses. None of this, the Jays may have more wins but the Twins lost more games in extra-innings so with the loser points the Twins are in the playoffs.
  19. Hersey Bar with Almonds is the Jack Eichel of candy. I'd take Lehtonen and Niemi over what the Sabres currently have.
  20. If you go by success over the next five years, than a team like the Blackhawks will top most lists. IMO, they have 2 or 3 more Cups in them. 5) Pittsburgh 4) LA Kings 3) Dallas Stars 2) Tampa Bay 1) Chicago It might be a good idea to do both type of lists.
  21. It's a bullet proof blanket, http://www.cnet.com/news/bulletproof-bodyguard-blanket-designed-to-shield-schoolkids/
  22. Looks like their listing was weighed heavily by established NHL talent not promise. I really do like this idea. I am going to list my top 5 teams for the upcoming 2020-21 season. 5) Colorado Avalanche 4) Florida Panthers 3) Dallas Stars 2) Buffalo Sabres 1) Calgary Flames
