This seems pretty cut and dry. All these exaggerated scenarios are pointless.

So, the idea here is that since you can't correct all non-scoring plays using replay the NHL shouldn't try to use replay to correct scoring plays? I'd be more concerned about being the team that gets screwed on an invalid goal than worrying about when fans get to cheer. It's not about making anything perfect, it's about using the available technology to fix correctable mistakes. Which the NHL is doing. Is any system perfect right out the gate? No, I'm sure the NHL will have to make some tweaks here and there. Overall, the NHL got this right. If fans want to complain about something that is ridiculous, try 3 on 3 overtimes, that is embarrassing to the game. 3 on 3 was a horrible decision by the NHL and one I hope goes away fairly quickly.

Not even close. It's like reviewing the play because there was holding on that play. I wish the NFL challenge system included penalties. Either review the entire play or just end all reviews & challenges.

Of all the players that could of ended up injured last night, Lehner concerns me the least. I have very low expectations for him as the Sabres goalie to begin with.

If you're going to use replay this is the way to use it. Review the entire play. It sucked last night but it was 100% the right call. I'd hate to lose a game on a goal that resulted from an offsides.

Shouldn't your argument be more about SV% vs. Saves which we are using? Total amount of saves rewards those goalies that see a lot rubber during a game. With your goalies I can see why ;)

If we had a 14th owner I would send the invites. I would hate to freeze anyone out. As in the past, someone is going to drop out or ignore their team. You'll be on top of the replacement owners list if you want. IMO, there is more than enough offensive talent to support 14 teams. Goalie values would sky rocket, I think it makes things more interesting.

With Tim Murray as GM, I am always expecting something. If the Sabres get off to a good start I expect Murray to make a deal for a top six forward by the quarter pole.

I agree with this 100%, Selfish and not prepared. Is Jerry Hughes looking to set the career mark for 15 yard unsportsman like conduct players. He doesn't make enough plays to over look this level of stupidity. 1-2 at home with the two home losses being quite embarrassing. Overall, the 2015 Buffalo Bills are not a likable team. They have an unearned bravado and just play stupid football. Which penalty was not deserved? The Bills were holding on the Taylor TD run and Incognito engaged a defender low who was already engaged, again stupid since there was no reason to. Let's talk about the penalty that gave the Giants a chance to turn a field goal into a touchdown? Is it the officials fault the Bills forgot you can't can't cover the center on field goals? Blaming the officials is just a way to ignore the bigger problem. This is just not a very smart football team?

I don't see why all the surprise, this is the world the gun culture has bought and paid for? This is the natural result of of gun proliferation into a society. What is the gun culture going to come out and say, something like if the people killed yesterday had guns they would still be a live. It's all . I'm sick of hearing how surprised people are or how upset people are when this happens because 99% of them aren't going to do jack to change anything. What people should be feeling is guilty. If people would have gotten serious about all this after Sandyhook the people murdered yesterday, and all the others since then, might be alive today. At the very least they would have had a better chance.
