Maybe you should pull yourself up by your bootstraps. If you haven't found your perfect job that's on you not President Obama? Here is some real truth for the masses. The company I work for was dying under the Bush administration. Continually contracting, clients going out of business. The last seven years under Obama, as the economy strengthened, we have come back with a vengeance. We completely filled the offices we have to the point of opening a second office. We are launching new major clients regularly. I am busting my ass for 40-50 hours a week. They even changed our healthcare, for the better. Costs a little more but is was a life saver this year when I missed two months with a damaged disc and nerve issue in my neck. My wife and I purchased a new home under Obama and we're driving our first new car in a long time. If you company is raising your healthcare premiums 30% and deductibles 480% on deductibles than you are being gouged by your company. Not all companies are takign advantage of their employees like that.

How does Marvin Lewis keep his job after this? Lack of control of his players looks oddly familiar.

Your points were obliterated a long long time ago. You got nothing. This is all part of the evil master plan. By increasing healthcare costs Obama it making it more difficult for people to buy more guns. Time to face facts gents. President Obama took a country that was economic disarray and on the verge of economic collapse while burdened with the most useless Congress in world history and has placed the Country on solid ground while providing affordable healthcare for millions. These are just undeniable truths. By all means continue to ignore them and lets elect whichever Republican you want so we can go back to the good old days under the 'W'. How important is Planned Parenthood? In 2013 they provided the following services besides abortions (327,653): 4.5 million tests and treatment for sexually transmitted infections 3.6 million contraception related services 935,573 cancer screenings including breast exams and Pap tests 1.1 million pregnancy tests and prenatal services How can anyone want to deny women these services and still call themselves Christian?

Is depth the problem? Sabres Injuries and the Standings
deluca67 replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
100% healthy this team isn't likely a playoff team. There is a lot of building yet to be done. -
Another 292,000 jobs added in December. Let's get this guy Obama out of office before he continues to destroy this country with jobs and healthcare and overall common sense thinking. Let's get a Republican in office so they can put an end to all this positive job growth before any more damage is done.

Maybe if the Republicans were more concerned about the lives of the innocent victims than they are about losing campaign contributions and kickbacks from the gun industry we could get some gun legislation with some real teeth. How about the Republicans start working on some real gun legislation instead wasting time and millions of tax payer dollars on token bills to repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act? Do some actual governing? The Republicans are such a joke that Donald Trump is their leading presidential candidate. President Obama has been and continues to be the only adult in Washington.

The wife and I binged watched this over the Christmas weekend. My wife works for a defense attorney and at points during the series she was brought to tears and other times she was so angry and frustrated we had to pause the show. There is no doubt that Sgt. Colborn was in possession of the vehicle after the victim went missing and days before it was "discovered." Add in the fact that a previous blood sample had been tampered with it is astounding the convictions were not overturned. There should be a US Justice department investigation of the entire Wisconsin judicial system.

You might what to look up the definition of the word "dire". It's January 8th and there have already been 223 gun related deaths in the US including 11 children under the age of eleven. But, by all means keep your NRA sponsored blinders on. If you don't think there is a gun problem in the US then you are part of the problem. http://www.gunviolencearchive.org/

Have the number of actual murders decreased?
-
Left to our own devices and children will continue to be murdered in the streets. An unchecked gun culture will be our demise, not groups from foreign nations. The gun culture does indeed need a "shepherd" because they have proven themselves to be sheep.
-
I've said in the past that each round/bullet purchased should be accounted for in a mandatory yearly firearm inspection. If a firearm or rounds are missing or unaccounted for than any license should be suspended until they are. That's never going to happen because the NRA/gun industry and the gun culture want nothing to do with accountability or personal responsibility. They will just start screaming about "big brother" or "government control" like they always do.
-
People need to stop fooling themselves. If anyone who actually thinks the NRA or the gun industry gives even the slightest fu*k about the second amendment then you are sadly mistaken and are being used. The NRA/gun industry cares only about one thing, profits. If people are are being murdered on the streets and that causes another person to buy another gun that's great for business and that is all they care about. So please, save the 2nd amendment bullsh!t, it stopped being about individual rights a long time. When the NRA/gun industry sees a report of more gun related deaths all they see are dollar signs. Anyone thinking otherwise is living a fantasy.

How many "statement ######" wins did Dick Jouron have as Bills coach. Nothing yesterday changes the fact this season was just more of the same. One meaningless moral victory is all fans have to hang their hats on? As far as Mario Williams, keep him and hire Mike Pettine as defensive coordinator, a coach that will have him rushing the passer not dropping into coverage. If Rex Ryan want's to be an innovator on defense he should put an end to all the gadgets and garbage and just lineup his best players up in the positions they are best at and go at it.

You have to look no further that the two teams involved here. A top six forward on the Kings and a top pairing on the D are not the same as on the Sabres. It may not always be accurate or fair, it's the common perception.

Daughty is a stud defenseman on a Stanley Cup contender, but let's not diminish the fact that McNabb has to be bringing some game to get the minutes he is getting. He may not be a Norris candidate, he's not out of place.
-
Is there a point here? When Jack Eichel is skating around the ice with the Sabres first Stanley Cup and handing it to Sam Reinhart is anyone going to care that on January 2nd of the 2015-16 season the Sabres were in 29th? I know I'm being an a$$, I'm just frustrated at how some seem to be focusing on the meaningless. I know the Sabres lost today and losing sucks. Know what doesn't suck? The Sabres erased two deficits including a two goal goal deficit and the two lynch pins of the future are the players that delivered. Throw the standings out the window and relax and enjoy. Where on the ground floor of something really exciting.

This would make a great caption contest. I will go with 'Bounty of the Sea' :flirt:

There is a lot more to building a contender than just goal scoring. As your numbers point out, going from a -56 to -13 is no small feat. And their nightly level of compete has been very very good. The goals will come over time.
-
As some point the players effort has to warrant a bigger opportunity. Teams looking to pick up some depth for a playoff run are going to look at Moulson's play this season and pass. There is nothing about his game this season that is appealing to other teams. Contract aside, I doubt Moulson would get any interest from a team if the Sabres simply waived him. Unless there is a team with serious injury problems that just need a warm body. Right now, any minute Moulson spends on the ice is wasted ice time for the Sabres.

Updated Evander Kane Cleared in Sex Offense Investigation

I can not find the words that properly describe the deep sadness I am feeling right now. Does Evander have the same history at Patrick? -
I like Whaley's aggressiveness. He get's stuff done. The results of his moves can be debated, it can't be taken away that he is out there in the mix trying to make things happen. Likely a third party with an agenda which is where most rumors come from.

Stopped for lunch at the Allen St. Poutine Company, it was very good. For dinner we went to the Scotch and Sirloin on Maple. The food was good, maybe a little pricey. The problem was that my wife and I were the only couple there under 70 and without a coupon. A late 70's - early 80's decor, if they kept the food but had one of those restaurant makeovers it could be a really nice place.

A definite plus on the resume of Tim Murray.

I'll agree with "good" for the Bills, not sure about "very good." I say that with zero interest in Kiko Alonso. I do have concerns about the future of the Bills at running-back. I don't see Karlos Williams having a long career and McCoy is at that point where he is heading towards the downside. I would feel a great deal better if Williams didn't have the concussion/health issues.
