  1. How can two NFL coaches both make the horrible mistake of punting inside the 40 with less than 10 yards to go? Unless it's at the end of the game and you're trying to kill clock it remains the worst coaching call in all of team sports.
  2. They evolved
  3. Dinosaurs for one, they were around millions of years before man "created" religion.
  4. He knew God was watching the Cowboys game.
  5. Don't "good teams" also put games away in the fourth quarter. It's hard to put a team away when the officials are going to take possessions away from you. I'm not arguing that the Bills are some great team. That shouldn't take away from what happened to them on Sunday. They are a team that is going to have to battle for everything they get. It shouldn't be too much to ask that the officials get basic plays called correctly. It could very well have been the Bills would have punted four plays later or the Bengals force a turnover. Let the players decide the game.
  6. How many teams overcome having a possession taken away at the end of close games?
  7. A first down in a close game is huge. For the officials to arbitrarily take the first down away changes everything that happens after that play. How many pass interference and illegal contacts penalties were called? There was a great deal of contact down the field that wasn't called. When officials go into a game deciding that they are just going to let it go also has an effect on the outcome of the game. Especially when one team passes more than the other.
  8. Buy this shirt. Game Day T
  9. Why not go the opposite way? This week buy a Bengals jersey. Next week a Eagles jersey, then Giants and so on.
  10. I see that the QB in Philly is complaining about the NFL being a bit too physical for his liking. I guess he is finding out that playing in the NFL isn't as easy as drowning, electrocuting and choking defenseless animals. On a happier note, the Dolphins are 0-3
  11. Did you read the post before it?
  12. The Bills should find a way of playing a half of football before the games starts.
  13. Nice job of by the Bills gaining their composure and making a game of it.
  14. This has been an embarrassing first nine minutes.
  15. A longer day if they don't figure out how to get a pass rush on Brady. I could get open with all the time they are giving Brady.
  16. Looks like the short week, cross country trip and the time change is finally catching up with the Raiders. The Bills can't let them back into the game.
  17. I was surprised Gagne was still there late. I really like my defense. All big hitters and shot blockers. Jonathan Toews (Chi - C) Mike Richards (LA - C) Ilya Kovalchuk (NJ - LW,RW) Milan Lucic (Bos - LW) Ryan Callahan(NYR - RW) Cal Clutterbuck (Min - RW) Jarret Stoll(LA - C)P.A. Parenteau(NYI - RW) Simon Gagne(LA - LW) Brent Seabrook(Chi - D) Luke Schenn(Tor - D) Theo Peckham(Edm - D) Matt Greene(LA - D) Tim Gleason(Car - D) Cam Ward (Car - G) Kari Lehtonen(Dal - G)
  18. Gionta was a great value pick. I was hoping he would make it through another round.
  19. 2nd round in both drafts. A 50 goal scorer that I can start at either wing. Best value of the draft.
  20. Twice nobody drafted the player I had queued to pick (Nash & Marchand). Other than that no huge surprises. Good luck to all.
  21. Very happy with the draft.
  22. Because Kelsay has no trade value. The Evans move was all about the money. The Wilson family appears to be trying to get as many golden eggs from the goose before the goose dies or is sold.
  23. Fixed that for you.
  24. The Jets beat the Bills twice last season by a combined 76-21 score. The Titans have the best running-back in the league. The Raiders and Chiefs were #1 and #2 in rushing last season. I wouldn't consider those games "winnable." Offensive gadgets are fun and can be useful as a compliment to a solid base offense. The Bills do not have a solid base offense. The line is a mess. They have one wide-out and no tight-ends of any significance. They will be hard pressed to match their 5th worst 17.7 ppg, even harder pressed to improve on it.
  25. 7 or 8 wins is extremely optimistic. Looking at their schedule I see three possible wins (Cincy, Washington and Dallas). I don't see how they can possibly win more. Their offense consist of gimmicks and gadgets (Smith, Parrish and Spiller). They have a decent back in Jackson and serviceable short term QB in Fitzpatrick. The run defense should be better, it was so historically bad how can it not be. The 2009 Bills had as many 20+ point loses as wins (6). 2010 Bills had more 24+ point loses(5)than wins(4). I don't see the Bills making significant enough moves to change that trend this year.
