There are 30 coaches and GMs, if you want to make it only about Lindy and Darcy, that's on you. One good thing, over the past ten years the golf handicap of Sabre fans has dropped significantly :doh: .

I hope any new CBA includes term limits for coaches and GMs with no grandfather clauses.

The Vince Young signing is the type of move I would like to see the Sabres make. It would take advantage of Pegula's resources. A minimal financial investment on a player with a tremendous amount of talent and if it didn't work out you can cut him. A couple of signings like this per season does not prevent the Sabres from making other moves.

He is/was a tremendous athlete. Not a bad idea to kick the tires on this one and see if he has any value to the Bills.

Didn't Lindell just finish last season on the IR? The Bills need some fall back if Lindell doesn't comeback at 100%.

No I can't. :w00t: I wondered if Graham was the last wide receiver on their board. I would have liked to have seen that pick used in the front seven even if it were for depth purposes only.

During the draft I listen to the talking heads and try to pick up on buzz words. With Glen I heard poor footwork and susceptible to power moves to the inside. How much of a concern should this be?

It's great having our own Mel Kiper Jr on the board. Are there any LB's that would be be considered good value in the second round?

Carolina broke my heart. Glad the Bills went defense in the first round. Hope the Bills come back with a CB or LB in the second round. Did Floyd have issues off of the field.

Looking at the past 3 seasons, you can see a progression in Quick's game and his numbers. His save % has increased each season and his gaa has gone down each season. You see, it's not about one season, it's his entire body of work.

I think it is as simple as there is a level of Vancouver respect for Vancouver as a franchise that just isn't there with the Sabres. It may be due to all the ownership changes, Status Quo, the lack of superstar's or that Vancouver is a Canadian city.

There is a great deal of respect out there for the Kings. Quick is taking his place as one of the best young goalies in the game and has people looking at the Kings differently. How could last year be "enough?" Not sure what you mean there?

This is a a bit harsh GoDD. It's like telling the woman sitting on the curb during an episode of Cops she deserves to get hit. There is a great number of Sabre fans that suffer from Battered Fan Syndrome. That is why they make excuses every time Status Quo gets liquored up and knocks them around. They are happy to live in the denial bubble that Pegula and Black have built. Why wouldn't they, the denial bubble has new carpeting and painted walls and some catchy phrases etched in glass. It also protects them from the realities of where this franchise truly is.

You would think the numbers would be closer considering one controls the other. I guess it depends if Hodgson is signed up for the Roy Plan or the Vanek Plan.
