I voted a 3rd round. An undersized forward now with concussion concerns? 3rd round is best case scenario.

Facts are not Trumps strong suit. Compared to Trump?

I would prefer Fowler as well. He is three years younger which fits the Sabres timeline a little better.

It's only a matter of time before they want their 13 Colonies back. Hell, the US is being dragged down by those who want to go back to 1950. The UK is being dragged down by those that want to go back to 1750!

Why Kane?

Title guns? Yes! With a national data base for law enforcement to cross reference when needed. Ask yourself why and then tell me more about the reasonable gun owners.

This isn't the 1940's where you have gumshoe's going over a couple of boxes of records. You are talking millions of records of decades. There is a reason that the NRA spent millions to make sure there are no electronic records like they spent millions to make sure there are no researches done by the CDC. We both know what they are.
-
This could be done if the Republicans, under direction of the NRA, hadn't blocked the ATF from having electronic records on gun sales.

That's a really interesting trade. Likely would take the 2nd rounder to complete. If the Ducks are looking to clear some cap space and bring in a top tier free agent, I wonder if they would include a player like Silfverberg in a bigger deal.

Being a member of a society means living with certain restrictions. I can't drink in drive. I can't even text and drive. I can't walk into a pharmacy and get any drug I would like. I can't just walk onto an airplane and I can't light up a cigarette anywhere I would like. So why is it I can buy pretty much any gun I would like without any problem. There's a imbalance that needs to be corrected.

Than I would have to question your use of the word "responsible." This country is well on it's way of surpassing 300 mass shootings this year alone. That pretty close to one a day. If a gun owner can look at the number of shootings and deaths we have in a single year and doesn't believe their needs to be significant changes in the gun laws how can that person be considered responsible. Back in the days were the conversation was about HGH and other drugs in sports I railed on the players and their unions for nor being at front lines calling for mandatory drug testing. It's the same here. If you are a "responsible" gun owner than you should be at the front lines calling for tougher restrictions and enforcement. A "responsible" gun owner, like a clean player, should have nothing to worry about. Sit on the sidelines and do nothing and you have nothing to complain about.
-
It's only a small fringe group that prevents real gun control laws. The "responsible gun owners" would welcome it. "responsible gun owners" know they don't enough fire power to kill a small village in seconds. It was not that long ago that Reagan passed the ban on assault riffles. It can be done.

I saw an incredible number thrown out recently. 400,000 Americans were killed in WWII. Since 2001, 400,000 Americans have been killed by firearms. The US for the last 15 years has been a war zone. The inconveniencing of a small percentage of "Law abiding citizens with legal guns" is a small price to pay for potentially saving thousands of lives per years. There are no "strict gun control laws" in the US in any city. That's the problem. What is this sit-in preventing? More wasted attempts at repealing ObamaCare? More pointless hearing on Benghazi? Hell, this sit-in is saving the country money. I would welcome the NRA coming. The NRA should be treated as the pariah that they are. If I were a candidate I would at, every opportunity, ask my opponent "are you an actual member of the Republican Party or an employee of the NRA." I would hammer home that my opponent was just another congressional piece of property owned by the gun industry.

Those people are already there with Trump, the pro-gun, anti-gay and anti-minority voters are already on his side. A stance of gun control isn't going to drive reasonable voters over to Trump. The Democrats need to push gun control, it's their best chance to make significant gains in seats this November. They need to push gun control and and the monies given from the NRA/Gun Industry to specific members of congress who continue to block attempts at real legislation.
-
There's never a bad time to protest the lack action on guns by this congress. Every moment wasted are more lives lost. This "sit in" will end up only being symbolic. What needs to happen is to start listing which members of congress are taking the NRA/Gun Industry's money and start singling them as the sellouts they are. Hopefully this "PR stunt" leads to more "PR stunts". The cycle of innocents being gunned down and everyone just forgetting about it needs to end.

The Sabres have backup goalies. What they need is a solid starter. Fleury may not be the best goalie in the NHL, he would be an upgrade on what the Sabres currently have. If the Sabres could sign Stamkos I think it helps league wide perception as much as it would on ice results. Like Mario Williams signing with the Bills. There would be great benefits down the road beyond adding a premier scorer. It would make signing the next guy a lot easier. What is the price tag for Campbell?

I keep reading people ask "how can the Senate sleep at night?" That's easy, in a big comfortable bed in a big house bought for them by the NRA/gun industry. The Senate proves yet again that the money they receive from the NRA and the gun industry is more important to them than human lives.

Dubya wasn't reading to kids. He was there learning how to read.

It's 2016, the gun culture has wanted to create a Wild West version of the United States, they have accomplished their goal. it was only a matter of time that those who wish to do harm, from all over the world, would take advantage of it.
-
The answer never is or will be more guns. I'd like to say the obligatory "maybe this will cause some real change." Time and the growing pile of dead bodies has made me skeptical that this country will ever do the right thing.
-
Name Presidents that have accomplished more? What he has been to accomplish even with a lame duck congress for the past six years is historic.
-
Thank god Republicans work so hard to prevent any real gun control so this "American Muslin Terrorist" could carry out his plan and be so efficient.

You are using a singular asset on a player that you have limited information on compared to a drafted prospect who likely has some NHL experience or at least some AHL games on their resume. Murray has stated he prefers more established prospects. You can then package those eight 2nd and 3rd rounders for more NHL ready talents. There is nothing lazy about asset management. You're not getting a top six with the #8. Calgary is amassing a great deal of talent. it would depend on what Murray considers the greater value. Bennett is the ideal choice but unlikely. The Flames do have some quality winger prospects to choose from.

Yeah, I love me some truth too on a Sunday Morning..
