I learned math/statistics from the back of baseball cards. Leino or Lieno? Who cares? I can't wait til the day we can just call him an ex-Sabre.

Unless that third party is a party of robots and androids, that party will be susceptible to the same failings and pitfalls that currently plague the two Major parties.
-
I have no sympathy towards either party. The idea of squabbling over percentages is silly, IMO. The focus should be on improving the game, filling the seats and producing a product that networks would fight over. To use a lame analogy, they are fighting over how to divide an apple pie instead of concentrating on turning their one apple tree into an orchard of apple trees capable of producing enough apples for many pies.

He prevented the economic collapse that the Bush administration had the country heading for. That alone gets my vote.
-
It is odd that he is on the roster of the Sabres on NHL13.
-
He was just saying what everyone already knew.
-
Give the kid a break, it's not like he is saying Steve Montador is a top four defensemen or anything crazy like that. ;)

I Don't have children either. As a Tax Payer I have to pay for bombs and military aircraft I choose not to use. i would like to see a reduction in military spending as well as closing corporate tax loopholes. I am also for Welfare and Medicare reform, not a reduction, true reform. Finding smarter and more efficient ways to provide aide and healthcare to those in need. IMO, there is far more bureaucratic waste than actual fraud. Welfare & Medicare fraud are boogie men.

Nice post. I would like to see the part in bold implemented in this country. The #1 assets we have in this country are people and we let them go to waste in the name of Capitalism. We should be flooding our educational system with money and technology. There should be free education available to everyone (even the children of undocumented workers) from Pre-K through College. Day Care should be free for working parents or at least 100% tax deductible.

That and the invasion of the Middle East by the 'W' and his father killing innocent people, I can why some would consider the most recent insult as something to protest.

"Grown-up view?" How does Romney's view differ than his predecessors view which caused this mess in the first place?
-
I'd gladly sell out the Country if Romney could prevent an NHL lockout.

If you measure by the distance this team is a way from being a Stanley Cup contender, my vote is no. Pegula being willing to write some checks is great, they just haven't amounted to much at this point.

I'm not a fan of his, he happens to be right in this one case. The Bills are going nowhere until that get the next franchise QB.

Two words, "Garbage time." Anything Fritz did late in the game is completely meaningless. Five teams started rookie QB's this week. I think there were another 5 second year starters. Here are the Bills with absolutely nothing at the QB position. They have a below average QB as a starter and complete garbage as the backups. The NFL is a QB driven league.

They look exactly like they did in pre-season.. Maybe it is time to stop pretending the Bills are better than the Jets.

Now that would be saying something. Good thing he has the nickname or he would be roasted this week.

That was fun to watch. Mario Williams? Vanessa Williams would have had more effect on the pass rush. Fitzpatrick? I guess he is still injured? 4th and a foot at your own 30 yard line down by 2 touchdowns? Instead of going for it, they take a delay of game penalty and give up a TD on the return. Coaching? Are the Bills prepared to play any aspect of this game? Did Pegula buy the team and make Lindy Ruff coach?

Are material items really more pressing than the health and welfare of women in this country? If you think Sandra Fluke is only about birth control than you are missing the greater point.

Bettman is establishing a track record of trying to keep teams in place.

Is Joe Biden keeping Obama alive? Probably! I was thinking it could help bridge the divide, that is of course if the President and Vice President would work together. That way the White House wouldn't always be at odds with one half of congress or the other. Another idea I like is increasing the number of Senators from 100 to 150. Give each state 3 reps and make one seat Republican, one seat Democrat and the third seat Independent/other.

It's the same thing as when a campaigning politician visits a soup kitchen. Are they using the situation for their own personal gain, absolutely. if at the same time they can put the hospital in the news for a moment and remind people there are kids and their families out there that need help, IMO, it's a fair trade-off if the hospital or corresponding charity can make some money off of the visit. Even better if the Sabres bring a check with them. -
Others receivers getting worse contracts is not a solid argument, IMO. Johnson has talent and is a good receiver. I have serious questions regarding his maturity and dedication to the team and the game of football. He was told not to pull any stunts and basically spit in the face of his head coach so he could get some publicity and put his needs ahead of the success of the team. Stevie Johnson is not a athlete I have much respect for. I'll cheer if he scores a touchdown, as I would any player wearing the Bills uniform, I just have little respect for him as player.

A poster gets a mention on ESPN for repeating what I have been saying for years? I guess ESPN couldn't use the term "Team Pu$$y."

I know this is an insane idea. So fire up the flame throwers. What about making Presidential elections and Vice-Presidential elections separate votes? Instead of voting for a ticket you vote for individuals. Make it possible to have a President from one party and a Vice-President from another party.
