For Halloween maybe Meatloaf can dress up as his "Eddie" character in Rocky Horror Picture Show and Mitt can dress as Dr. Frankenfurter. Is there any doubt that Paul Ryan already owns a "Rocky" costume. ;)

Because it is spawned from the religious based concept that women are property. They are considered child rearing cattle in most religions. The thought is that their bodies belong to their husbands and absent of a husband their bodies belong to the church. One of the biggest lies of the last 30 years is the idea of being "Pro-Life." It is hypocritical to say "Pro-Life" when you are giving no consideration to the lives of women who face a serious choice. Instead of "Pro-Life" they should be given a more accurate name to go by, I choose "Forced-Birth" which describes what these people are truly trying to accomplish.

How will an endorsement from the singer of "Bat out of Hell" play with Romney's ultra-conservative religious base? I could imagine a Pat Boone type of endorsement carrying more weight.

A great job by the San Francisco Giants, one game away from a World Series Championship. They are doing it without their #1 closer Brian Wilson and their best hitter Melky Cabrera.

Don't worry, thanks to Roe Vs Wade and Maury Povich I am glad to report I do not have any children.
-
Instead of forcing women to give birth to children they do not want, why not make vasectomies for males mandatory at the age of 13? When the man is ready to have children he can have the procedures reversed. Or, is it only acceptable to force things onto women?

Nope. Various banks and finance companies from large national banks to smaller regional banks and credit unions.

I sat through a quarterly meeting last week where the suits talked about how the company I work for is in it's best position in years. The company I work for has many clients in the financial industry. Under Bush our client base and work force shrunk, under Obama it is growing to a point where the company is growing again and taking on new clients. Only in the Republican Bubble of Denial are we not in a much better position than we were 3 years ago. The economy was the last boogieman the right had, Obama is in the process of snuffing out that problem as well.

To be fair, Romney is out of his element on foreign policy. Obama came out with what he has done, what he is doing and what he will continue to do. Romney has nothing to compete with that. Obama came across more like he was educating Romney, not debating Romney. Obama did a great job of pointing out how unqualified for the job Romney is.

Considering what a cluster-fu@k the W's presidency turned out to be, I doubt Kerry could have done a worse job even if he tried to.

When it comes to this GM, Head Coach and Roster right now I am of the opinion of "Next." Listening to Gailey right now explaining why he didn't try a 2pt point conversion. He just doesn't get it.

Gailey keeping Wannstedt at this point is like Wade Phillips keeping Ronnie Jones. If Ralph Wilson has any faculties at all left a change will be made.

What a bad time for the real Ryan Fitzpatrick to show up.

Chan Gailey doesn't have a realistic grasp on what is happening during games. It explains the play call and the Bills looking like garbage in 2nd halves. The other team is scoring touchdowns and he is settling for field goals. He is a horrible game day coach, he may be a decent coordinator, he is a piss poor head coach.

Bill Cower had a great take at halftime. Basically saying the Titans shouldn't get too excited, "it is the Buffalo Defense." Two bad teams make for an interesting game, as it did last week. I have Johnson as well, I am hoping for some garbage points in the second half.

I'm not sure what you are objecting to? I made the point that the NHLPA is hurting themselves by public statements and taking jobs overseas. Do you disagree that Donald Fehr should have a tighter rein on his members? I brought up the number of members to point out that it should be easy for Fehr to maintain control of content coming from the NHLPA and it's members. IMO, Donald Fehr and the NHLPA are wringing the book on "How not to win a labor dispute!"
-
There are larger "unions" out there. In 2012 it shouldn't be any problem at all. IMO, it is more likely that the NHLPA has about 100-200 actual members, the rest are guys who don't even realize dues is coming out of their paychecks. IMO, the only ones who are losing are the players. Owners will make money elsewhere and fans have about 1000 hours of entertainment available to them at any given time. Others sports, Movies, TV, DVDs, CDs, Books, Video Games, Online, E-Books and about 100 other things I could mention. The players earning potential and careers are limited.
-
There are what, 800-1000 members of the NHLPA? Have they all been given copies of the owner's proposal and a vote taken afterward? If Donald Fehr was such a labor genius he would have a gag order on all his players and not one member would be allowed to take job with another team.
-
IMO, the players are making a huge mistake. The WGR guys had the best take, the players are going to lose a lot more than the owners. The players will lose time off of their careers. The Owners can always find ways to recoup any money lost. Players can't recoup time. That seems like a steep price to pay for giving Donald Fehr another 15 minutes.

Cardinals and Giants putting together one heck of a series.

Because private business would have the individuals best interest at heart. If the government doesn't help these people, there are not enough people willing to that would make a difference. The Republican party hasn't had individual's interest as a priority in a long time, Ending social programs in order to pay for tax relief for the 1% of this country that doesn't need it is, IMO, truly evil. That they do it while carrying a bible in one hand is truly blasphemy if you believe in that sort of thing. Education for all, healthcare for all and a higher quality of life for all should be the core values of this Nation. We are as far from reaching that goal as any of those countries we look down as a nation.

I hope, my fantasy football team scored 200 points this week, the first time in league history, I am ready for some NHL hockey.
-
Good idea, I'll offer Hodgson and Leino.

Did anyone else notice that Brodeur plays goal for the Devils and Nashville? He has 2 wins for the Devils and 2 shutouts for the Preds?
-
Funny that Ryan is willing to spend 15 minutes washing dishes for the poor but he doesn't believe they deserve healthcare or any means of assistance to maintain any semblance of a minimum quality of life. Ryan is a modern day Marie Antoinette, "Let them eat soup!"
