I agree with this, if the ref on the field makes the call. The alternate referees running onto the field to overrule the officials working the game, however, does not sit well with me.

Well, this certainly takes some of the sting away.

Everybody completely lost their heads in the second half. When you've got your FB running deep routes as an ACTUAL TARGET multiple times, you know something has gone horribly wrong. We're gonna have the moral victory "hey, we were this close" narrative fed to us until next season, and it's all *****. You were manhandling that team for 40 minutes, and then threw the game away through a series of stupid mistakes, in spite of all of the preaching about smart disciplined football. Score some freaking points and give yourself some space to make a mistake or two so you don't look like an ass when your blue collar football team scores 19 points in regulation in the year 2020. I can't wait until we trade up for a defensive tackle in April.

He wouldn't say that for sure, but the main takeaways are that (part of) the stadium may be in worse shape than they thought, they have fewer options than they thought, and they have less time than anticipated. Personally, I don't think there's any way in hell that they can rip down the upper decks and rebuild them in time for next season. Even if they could, would it be worth the investment?

So someone involved with th stadium operations told me that in a morning meeting they were told that the stadium failed some critical inspection, and the entire 300 level needs to be torn down and replaced. Apparently that is what the "big January announcement" is.

I know what you mean. The Bills still have somewhat limited talent, and the coach still makes weird decisions in game. Sureb their schedule was weak, but they've taken advantage of the opportunities they've gotten over the last 3 years, which shows that theyre at least somewhat competent.
