Not sure if that is a serious post, but it's an opinion on the topic I agree w/. Not a plan beyond 4 years? Not buying that. Murray is looking at the short and long term. 8 years has to be included. Look at Boston right now. Their system is a mess. Have hopes Murray never follows that route.

Or talk him into returning to Russia. It's something not to worry about now that he's gone.

Yep, so there is nothing to complain about. Plenty of GM's would love to be in Murray's position. W/ the amount of prospects, draft picks and owner's money, it's like living a dream. Murray made things look very easy today.

Would not be surprised, but could see Arizona going for 13, 14, 15 and Subban, Jones or McIntyre. The Coyotes are a young, developing team. Not that Rask is old, but by the time things come together it'd be better for Arizona to have one of the goalies mentioned. It's going to take a lot for the Coyotes to leave the number 3 spot. Boston may want Hanifin that bad.

It's Eichel Day. No other sport exist today. Hockey is the one and only.

Buffalo first and Grigorenko is all I'd offer. If they take it, fantastic. If not, don't care. Sabres aren't as deep in defenseman as some may think. Plus, Zadorov has a lot of potential. Especially w/ Nolan gone.

Crazy to think the Sabres have already picked Eichel and Lehner for the first round and it hasn't even started yet! It'll feel like watching a re-run tonight when the draft starts.

Ha Murray may have raised the price for goalies! Of course GM's can quickly say no to that. But it'll feel better if another GM offers a 1st for a goalie. It'd be easier to accept what went down this morning.

You have to have a quality goalie between the pipes to win. I'm sure Eichel knows that. Lehner has high potential. Murray knows a lot about him and must feel very confident he'll deliver. 21st was a lot to offer, but other teams were going after Lehner. Maybe a 21st was needed to win the bidding war.

Agreed. 31st pick is a "1st rounder." I would've been content w/ that....I think. Now we have one heck of pick to look forward to tonight, but that's it. Had plans of yelling w/ excitement when Eichel is picked and having a feeling of my gosh what is next! And now, it's watch the Eichel selection and move onto a typical Friday. Yay....
