I understand what it means in a scientific sense. It is more or less is an explanation of some type of phenomenon. Facts are involved, but it is ever changing. In the scientific method theories are are an interpretation of the facts. Key word is interpretation.

Evolution is not just a fact. It is a fact + theory. It's a combination of both. When theory is a part of it, it is not concrete.
-
Gotta say it. If kids are being taught theories as if they have already been proven, than other theories, as in religion, should be taught as well. Of course the teaching of all is not possible. Point is having one selected and others thrown to the curb is bs. Why should one theory be considered okay to teach and others not? It's as if you are telling kids religion is a sham and completely untrue.

Glad to hear that. If each QB is being given an equal chance, EJ should go 2 and Cassel 3 in the next game. Yes, preseason is 4 games, but Rex needs to go after it. Give the QB's chances right away. Don't pull an EJ at number 3 for the first 2 games. If EJ is at number 3, Rex has already decided who his 2 QB's will be. As I said earlier, TT more or less has my vote. Feel the guy has more to offer than the other 2.
-
Wonder if Rex will play EJ play early in the next game to give him a chance. He has stressed it'll go down to the wire. I have hopes for EJ, but will admit I was excited when the Bills got a hold of TT. Strong arm, rather quick and he backed up Flacco. TT practically has my vote.

When reports initially got about Kane one of the early thoughts I had was of EA removing him from the cover. From what I can recall they did this a few ago w/ Madden. Can't remember which cover had to be changed due to a player doing something bad. I'm not too familiar w/ how things work in rape cases, but according to Kobe Bryant he himself could have received 25 years or more if things had to gone to court in Colorado. Bryant pointed out he did not have one thought about his NBA career when all of that was going down. The guy was fearing jail time. Quite sure Kane is thinking the same thing. There's just that you never know factor. If Kane did do what he has been accused of he deserves whatever is thrown at him. And I'm be in complete support of that. Now, if he is truly innocent he unfortunately will probably still have all of this associated w/ his name. Not sure what endorsements he has, but he has already lost at least one. It'll take time for Kane regain credibility. Again, that's if he is innocent. Take a look at Tiger Woods. Business dropped him quick after the craziness he brought upon himself.

Enjoyed watching Interstellar so much it quickly fell into my top 10. One of the many the reasons I liked Interstellar so much is the number of ideas and theories in it. Many of which I was introduced to in college. Had a professor that was doing some type of research for NASA. We had lengthy, yet very interesting discussions about ideas or theories I had never heard of before. To see them used in Interstellar made the movie very enjoyable to watch. Honestly couldn't tell you how many times I've seen it. Interstellar has become one of those movies where if I can't decide what I want to watch I simply put it on.

My twin brother occasionally has the setup. His father in-law works in the media and he relates to people very well. On separate occasions Jim Kelly and Bruce Smith gave my bro an out of the blue phone call. Now, it wouldn't mean as much to me. I'm a big Bills fan and miss the Kelly days, but my bro is at another level. What impressed me though is his reason why Jim Kelly is a person he respects/admires. It's not like in the past when Kelly was in the NFL. He's a hero so to speak because of who is today. Kelly has done a lot for the community and now provides hope to all w/ how he has handled the cancer he had to endure. Kelly is certainly a different person. Different in a good way of course. Certainly one to look up to and admire.

Looking forward to taking my kids to the movie Finding Neverland. Just learned the Goo Goo Dolls has a song on the movies album. Here it is.

Who will make an example out of him? Ontario or the NHL? You're expecting more than a fine from Ontario? Don't see that happening. A suspension from the NHL? Not very likely. NHL will probably have him do some type of community service like speaking to teens about this, that and the other. That'd be more productive than a suspension. Benefits everyone.

Sadly, Zelda Wii U has been delayed to early 2016. Nintendo has claimed "several new possibilities" as a reason why. Zelda is headed in a new direction for the series. For the first time it will have true open world type gameplay. Something to be excited about it. Recently the annual E3 was held. Gaming companies give previews, updates, plans, etc.... for more than 2015. However, Nintendo's idea is of E3 is to only show games they plan to release in 2015. Not provide any type of info for 2016. They haven't really done this before. Nintendo did provide an early trailer for Zelda Wii U at the 2014 E3, so that's not entirely true. Game I'm looking forward to the most on the Wii U in 2015 is Xenoblade Chronicles X. Have my fingers crossed Zelda Wii U will actually be released early 2016. Hope it's not delayed for the possible launch of the NX system. May run on both consoles.

His punishment will probably just be a fine. $1,000 for first timers, correct? And whatever the driver's license suspension is. Believe it is for 3 months and some type of monitoring for 9 months. Would be very surprised if he was suspended.
-
Possession of cocaine far surpasses O'Reilly's .08 BAC. Would the NHLPA even consider defending the guy if her were to be suspended? What hurts O'Reilly the most is his leaving the accident scene.

Just a lot of bs. I'd really like to post the video of Adam Sandler in Billy Madison, but it is has been over played.

What's your point? Drunk driving still lead to 9,000 people dying. If bad decisions weren't made, the 2,000 not drinking would still be alive and the 7,000 drinking and driving would also still be alive. Poor decision making led to the death of 9,000 people. That's why countless groups are against drunk driving. They're not just thinking about those killed by a drunk driver.
-
Didn't say that. Many accidents not involving alcohol could have been prevented. Alcohol played a major role in the 9,000 killed. There's no denying that. It's why there are strict laws on it and heavy penalties.
-
The 9,000 killed by a drunk driver were preventable.
-
Intended it'd take time for the general public to forgive a person for killing someone by driving under the influence. As for O'Relliy thankfully no one was hurt, so it's practically time to move on.
-
A DUI is a terrible offense. According to MADD, 9,000 or so are killed every year due to drunk driving. Forgiveness can at times be can be difficult. And I'm not making reference to someone forgiving a drunk driver being responsible for the death of another. That would be very difficult. Simply saying there will be people finding it difficult to forgive the guy. He did put people at risks. At times the only remedy is time. Of there's the judge not less the be judged. People mad at him for being at .08 may need to take a look at themselves. Have they ever had a few and chose to drive while most likely being over the limit? Good chance they have. So if they're going throw the guy under the bus, they should also do it to themselves. Let me add I'm not throwing him under the bus. He made a mistake, almost minor considering the bac level, and I like to think he's learned from it. Time to move on.
-
A .08 is a point .08. Law is the law. Still find it surprising he slammed into a Tim Horton's on a such a low BAC. He was a hundredth of point from being sober. I do support .08 being considered as driving under the influence. If it wasn't people would drink even more before getting behind the wheel. Yikes!
