  1. If the Bills start out 0-3 they will not make the playoffs. That'd be living in a dream world.
  2. It's also on their website. Noticed it this morning.
  3. Checked on the passing upgrades for Madden 16. Went to the features for the PS3/360 versions at Best Buy. The passing upgrades were added to to the PS3/360. It's a lot fun. I recommend it.
  4. That was before Marrone really began to hold him back. This preseason Manuel looked confident, had a 66.7% completion percentage and threw 4 TD's w/ no interceptions. Yes, there's a difference between preseason and regular season football, but a few of his throws were highlight worthy. Easily take him over Cassel.
  5. Longhorns have been going through a period of change for the past 2 years. Hired a new coach last year and have a some what new roster. Also going w/ a different style of play. Played west coast last year, but going w/ the spread this season. I'm not putting down Notre Dame. Just saying Texas is not a good team.
  6. 80 yard drive, no timeouts and only 1:36 to play. I'll go w/ EJ. Video only shows the final play w/ 2 seconds left on the clock.
  7. A better day for some, but a bad day for others. It'll be interesting to see what goes down. I want Cassel gone. If he's not cut today, the Bills are stuck w/ his cap hit, correct? EJ can play the same style of offense as Taylor, and I feel his confidence level has never been as high as it is now. Not concerned about him being the backup. If Simms clears waivers, not sure how the NFL works, put him on the practice squad. But who knows, maybe the Bills have their eyes on other qb's that may be placed on waivers. And just realized this is a thread for BuffaninATL. Happy belated b-day!
  8. ESPN has interests in the Bills this year that's for sure. Haven't seen so much time given to the Bills in umm.....years. Could be a very exciting year. But as mentioned above it could end up being an 8-8 or 9-7. And a side note, I had no interest in last seasons super bowl. Couldn't stand both teams. But, w/ Fred in Seattle now, if they make it to the super bowl, I'll be pulling for the win so he can have a super bowl ring. And of course I hope he plays a strong role in that. Let me add if Bills miraculously made it to big game, it'd be a different story.
  9. A game I cannot wait for. If I was debating between a PS4 and an Xbox One, Uncharted 4 would make the decision very easy. That's me though. Everyone has their likes/dislikes. Honestly don't know. The stuff is scary good though. If they put the new style of passing on the PS3 or 360, buy it.
  10. No, you're not. It's a lot of fun playing w/ a roster you actually enjoy. Additions to the passing gaming add to the fun factor. You can now place a pass high or low and even do a touch pass. All of that may have been added years ago. Haven't played Madden in a very long time. As w/ all games, in my opinion anyway, gameplay is more important. Madden has it going for sure, but the graphics are fantastic. It's worth a purchase.
  11. How is the draft looking this year for qb's? If a true first rounder is available, go for him if Taylor and EJ are so so this season. But the Bills shouldn't pick a qb in the first just to pick one. People were pretty mad about drafting some guy named EJ something. Just saying....
  12. Rex said it'd be a battle to the end. Sure, most of the decision making isn't based on preseason games, but they still play a factor in it. I'm Taylor supporter, but my opinion of EJ has changed a good bit. He has looked very confident and has done a better job of stepping up in the pocket and not missing his receivers. A pass 15 to 20 yards or so to the left sideline that was dropped thrown just a bit over the reach of a db in front of the receiver w/ a db coming in fast from the behind. Practically a perfect thrown ball. Let me add the receiver was not simply standing. He was running towards the sideline. A rather lengthy throw. As for Taylor, I feel he edges EJ out. Has a bit more mobility and seems to sense when to get out of the pocket and find a receiver any where down field. Even for a short 7 yard gain. This may be an exaggeration and I may be completely wrong on it, but a Flutie/Johnson battle could be forming. This would be from the fan base and maybe the press. Whoever is named the starter, I'm sure Rex will be telling the other he won't be holding a clipboard the entire season. Man, even for an entire game. Different situations may call for the other guy to be brought in. Just my two cents.
  13. Ha It's changed a good bit since 2000. Popped it in the other night. I felt like a deer in headlights. Haven't played Madden in years. Enjoyed playing NCAA. Bites it's no longer made. I am enjoying Madden 16 though. Just have to learn how to play it.
  14. Ha Was only x amount months old when this game was played. Obviously I didn't see it, but I did watch the final drive on the video provided and wow that's something I wish I could've seen. For the Bills there are a few games that were holy smokes! The comeback against the Oilers was unbelievable. Very happy I watched that one. Bad w/ quotes, but remember Chris Berman on Primetime saying "It's over, its all over....for Houston." He said this after the Oilers scored an early TD in the 3rd to increase the lead. To those that gave up on it, were too young to know what was was going on or not even born yet..... :nana:
  15. Anyone picking up Madden 16 today?
  16. Haven't wanted a Madden game in years. This year though....just might have to pick it up. Mainly from excitement, from I can see/feel, surrounding the Bills. Comes out on the 25th, correct? Yep, know what I'm picking up. Taylor, unless Ryan chooses a different QB week 1, will be starting. Can't wait to play it.
  17. Ha Fans can relate to this song. More in an opposite way though. Past 2 seasons is something many will try to forget. What the Sabres did/went through was well worth it, but it is something most will NEVER want again. I know I won't. "for it's worth, it was worth all the while"
  18. And ha Dilfer should almost have an asterick next to name. His main responsibility was a do not mess this up. Baltimore's team, particularly the defense, was very good. From I can recall the offense was kept rather basic on the passing game. As for the Mannings, they deserve credit. Eli was much better in the Super Bowl than Peyton.
  19. A 15 year old boy may be stronger than woman, but he is not considered ready to make a decision like that. So yes, she and all other women should be held to the same standard as men. It is an equal situation.
  20. Is it already 55 million or so locked in the defensive line or will this deal or one at 100 flat make it so? Could lead to the eventual loss of other key players. If need be put the franchise tag on the guy and go from there.
  21. Wow! Just learned this today. The average age of Facebook users in the U.S. is 40! Less than 10% of users are 17 or younger.
  22. Wish I could say the same. Have avoided Twitter, but I do have a Facebook account. Only reason I'm glad I have it is the communication I have w/ parents of kids I coach in cross country. Have a team page. Makes it easy to remind people of practice times, fundraisers, etc.... Aside from that, have almost no interests in Facebook. Man, feel old when I say that.
  23. And how do you think they reached that explanation? They had to interpret the facts first. As I said, interpretation is the key word.
  24. Ha At first I thought you were joking, but began to second guess myself. Rolled dice on it. Turned out I was wrong. Sorry about that. Have a lot of respect for your posts though. Very intelligent. Post number 2,701 :)
  25. I appreciate that. My post count, if you include my previous account, is around 2,700. Lost ability to post w/ my previous account when I attempted to change my e-mail address. It's all good though.
