Holy smokes Matt Stafford landed a record deal. He signed a 5 year extension w/ Detroit. Stafford is guaranteed 92 million!! W/ this deal and the contracts Carr and Luck recently signed, a new expected salary is slowly being set for franchise qb's. A contract like that will be a large hit to cap space.

Isn't it possible for a person not to have signs or symptoms of damage for a few days after looking at a solar eclipse w/ no protection? After watching a partial eclipse, I can't pass on the total in 2024. As much as I can't wait to see it, I will not look at a solar eclipse w/out eye protection.

A bit late to ask this question.... any of you watching the eclipse today? Where I'm at roughy 86% of the sun will be covered. Wish I had traveled to an area that will get to experience a total eclipse, but I am still very excited. Have a pair of safe solar glasses ready to go!

I haven't attempted to buy one yet, but I still haven't seen one in stores. Every time I have checked online, it's listed as out of stock. My kids will be asking Santa for a Switch, so I gotta "help" the guy deliver. I can see many being much like Arnold in the movie Jingle All the Way. The demand/supply is nowhere close to matching. The moment I see a Switch I'll pick it up. The sooner the better. Would not like trying to beat the crowds this Holiday season.

War for the Planet of the Apes looks like a must see. Supposedly the best one yet. Rarely see a trilogy that didn't have a disappointing movie.

Yep :thumbsup: If a GM is not willing to match what Botterill feels Kane is worth, keep him this season and try for a reasonable extension. Only trade Kane shortly before the deadline if he wants to test the market. There will be a team making a run that will want/need Kane. Injury would be the main concern. Sometimes you gotta roll the dice.

Found this interesting. On the Nintendo Switch, you'll be able to play Nintendo classics online w/ and against people. Supposedly old school games like Tecmo Bowl will be available. Bring it on!

Not interested in Seabrook. He's 32. Seabrook went from 49 points in the 15/16 season to 39 points in the 16/17 season. His numbers would continue to take a dive in Buffalo. Fewer players to play with.

In my opinion, Nintendo won this years E3. Sony and Microsoft had little to show for software. Before Nintendo's conference today, I thought this E3 was a bust. However, Nintendo decided to drop the gloves. Announced dlc for Zelda Breath of the Wild, had plenty to offer for Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblades 2, Splatoon 2 and a few other games. But what sealed the deal and became instant talk was the long awaited news of a new Metroid game. There weren't any pictures or video of the actual game. Just the playing of Metroid music and an announcement that Metroid Prime 4 is being developed. No estimated time of release was given, but just knowing Metroid Prime 4 is being made turned this E3 into a success. Nintendo wasn't done though. They later let everyone know another Metroid game is being made. It's a remake of Metroid 2 Samus Returns, and it will be on the 3DS. It looks like it will be released this fall. Glad Nintendo is bringing Metroid back.

I'm still w/ the NFL on this one. If a player doesn't want to play for a team that drafted them, they can miss a season and re-enter the draft. It's a privilege to play in the NHL.
