Sorry. I didn't say he wasn't going to be traded but I think you're more than happy to find criticism and this is all you can come up with. And I'm saying he already answered one of them and the other two are baiting type questions that so endear the media with players and teams. You're not going to say publicly we're trading so and so and hears what we want.

Quite frankly the speculation on medical issues by fans is getting rediculous. Obviously there's a problem between Eichel and the team. Let's not offer opinions that go into medical evaluations. We're not qualified or at least I don't think we are.

He's not like Jerry Jones in that he doesn't occupy the position of GM. Hiring inexperienced people or people you control may allow the operation to function as the Cowboys do. The title GM in itself doesn't mean you are in charge of player personel if you're controlled by the owners. I do think the Pegulas may think long time hockey fan translates into knowing how to operate a hockey franchise. I also think they just have a different type relationship to football and hockey.

Not really he's under contract. This bug in this is you have to find players without NMC and on teams with cap room to trade with. So many players have NMC that it's not as easy to make deals as some seem to think.

NMC do make it difficult no doubt. We're in tough spot. This franchise has been maybe the worst run NHL franchise. They've created this mess.

I think this is what we're facing. Either quantity or a hockey trade for the best player you can get. My guess now is KA is thinking both Jack and Sam must be moved. Add to that a strong chance Risto as well. The only hope is you can rebuild your whole core with that. We're going to end up giving up the best players individually but hopefully getting more quality depth.

Sam is gone after this year for nothing. You sign him to a long term or trade him now. He's as well as gone. I don't think he's signing again with the Sabres.
