Who have these teams signed that you think we should have? I agree we need goalkeeper but most of these moves I've seen I don't think would necessarily make sense for us.

Doubt very much Kane comes here. As great a player he is I'm not all that disappointed but hate to see him on a competitors team for sure.

All this is true. Still players may look at many things. We could be better but maybe Detroit was just more attractive to him for reasons unknown.

Maybe Husso wanted Detroit and not us. We can't just assume Adams wasn't looking at Husso.

Agree. KA carried out the owners commands which in many ways I feel was needec. Too much inefficient fat needed to be cut.

Would certainly like sources (reliable) to support your statement about Adams/Forton. I am of the opinion Adams is well liked.

In spite of the frustration I think to this point any goalkeeper that would upgrade what we have have not been interested in coming here. That's not our GM's fault. It's probably the past mishandling of the franchise. There are still a few goalies out there that are possibilities.

Second and third tier goalies. Sounds like what we have.

My understanding is Holtby has some serious health issues.

Talbot or Allen would be okay.

Jake Allen's stats are actually better than Husso. Husso is younger. Allen would be upgrade for us short term.

The Husso deal maybe would have made sense for us.

And they did just not to us. It's looking more likely we're sticking with what we have. Thought it would be difficult and appears the options to find a two to three year place holder are not many.

I think Adams will try but not sure it can be done. I am very hopeful KA will finally be the answer at GM after a couple bad ones though.

Tend to agree. Hopefully they're beginning to turn that around but at this moment think you're correct.

Not to be pessimistic but I don't think we'd be on the short list of any free agent goalies. You possibly could offer more to try and entice one but wouldn't that be contrary to KA mantra, "we want players who want to be here"?

Don't agree on the point a fourth line player shouldn't be considered. As I also don't think your best player should necessarily be your captain. Having said that I'd be happy with either Tuch or Kyle. Giving the edge to Kyle.
