I believe officers killed "in the line of duty" are one every 58 hrs according to officers memorial fund. Point I'm making is before we so certainly pontificate about police/policies we at least report not only one side but the other as well. Our news outlets do not do that. Example : guy out on the street selling drugs killed and family on evening news with friends saying "what a caring wonderful person". Give me a break. There are bad cops but if we go by the media that's about all there are with a few good ones sprinkled in.

When will we see there are two factors in player movement and neither have much to do with Buffalo. 1)Money and 2) Winning. This Buffalo ego crisis is almost amusing.

Looks like I don't have a lot of members in my " I Don't give a Crap " club. If he signs with us great. If he doesn't no big deal I'm not going to dislike the guy. One thing I see is to me very depressing. I have lost my confidence in our government. Republicans, Democrats, conservatives, or liberals....all. bought and delivered by special interest groups. If you have the $$$ you have my support. I'm 73 years old and I don't trust a politician or much they say. Yes their are a few that really have true convictions but I think they are few. We as a nation have allowed this to happen.

As the father of a police officer I may be automatically labeled bias but I have talked many times with him about these issues. There are some cops not fitted to the job but most are doing their jobs without prejudice. I pray everyday for his safety and that he act with integrity and fairness. Having said that I'm not sure the number of arrests of people of color is the result of prejudice as much as the media hype seems to imply. Also implied at times is that those officers who shoot someone are not effected emotionally and it's time we give at least equal attention to how many officers are gunned down daily in this country both white and black that you never hear about on cable news.

I believe what is suggested is to allow him to "talk" with other teams while still holding his rights. This would allow the Sabres to maybe know quickly what his decision is. Don't think this would make our chances any less or any greater of signing him.

Ennis is worth holding onto see what he does. If he regains his game it will be asset for us or trade value increases. Right now I would think is a bad time to even try to market him. Trade deadline or expansion draft we'll see.

The goaltending last season went beyond my expectations even with Lehner injury. If it can repeat that then I think k we have chance for sure otherwise a near miss. You do understand that he is getting the same contract regardless so this isn't about money. It's about where he wants to play. So if he is waiting til August it's because there are other places he might prefer. Simple as that.

Thank you. Too many times I see where fans want to over look bad characters just because they enhance their teams chances of winning. Hope if they are parents that they don't parent with the same standards. A lot of these athletes would probably be in prison if it weren't for their athletic abilities.
