The more people on here bash Bylsma , and not saying I love him, the more we overlook the players part in this. You are right we have given up a lot of points where we had them made.

At this time your assessment looks accurate. Lehner has definitely had rough spots, particularly in shootouts. Our goaltending wasn't all that strong to begin with and Lehner, to me , at the time sounded like a risk no greater than the risk of whoever we would have taken with the twenty first pick. We'll see but there is certainly room to question. The rest of Murray's moves I have no problem with. No GM on ny team ever bats 1000.

I really like the guy but I wouldn't be surprised if he just can't do it anymore. Hopefully it's just not trying to rush him back but it's a concern I would think.

I don't think there is anyone I would rather NOT listen to than Peters. There is not anyone I disliked watching as a player more than Peters.

I am not dissatisfied with GM at all. This team, in my mind, has improved quite a lot. Goaltending is no worst and personally I think improved. Forwards significantly improved. Defense about the same but I expect Murray's intentions are to look to improve that as well. Grade o tis point: A-.

Good post overall. Still feel GM has overall improved this team. We have given points away by not finishing games. Overall, for me at least, the team has been more entertaining and better. I know the record doesn't seem to back that up. Jury is out on DB in my mind he has the rest of the season to save his job or lose it.

On replay I see both those penalties as very weak calls.

While Ekblad and McDavid would have been the picks Risto and Eichel aren't bad compensation. We were very fortunate to get both of them. I was thinking earlier we have a pretty darn good core of players now. Yeah there are areas we need improvements but I think we're going in a good direction even with the record not being as good as I'd like. O'Rielly move was huge in my mind.

I posted on the Bills Range almost this same thing. The glow is off and fans now are starting to seriously question this ownership. What a fast fall from hero's to goats. It appears being nice,super wealthy and willing to spend is not a sure formula for winning which many Buffalo fans thought. Pegula I fear is too friendly with his employees like Doug and Russ.

Now just a short time after the euphoria of the Pegulas rescuing our franchises. Now we have owners with deep pockets and willing to spend!!!!! The euphoria has become depression and many beginning to feel owners with money isn't all we thought it would be. It takes more than nice and money. I suspect these owners get too personally close to their employees.

Ray and Peters are too typical of what you get when former marginal players get jobs in broadcasting. Troy Aikman and Chris Collingsworth to name a couple in football I think are pretty good. Jim Lorentz I liked as well but in hockey there's not many I care to listen to. That mute button is so handy.

As with many opinions this is partially on. They are not as good as many thought and some still do. They aren't as bad as their record. I have pretty much given up on the idea this is the coach who can move this group ahead but he isn't the whole problem either. If you can justify Rex being let go I think there is more of a case to let Bylsma go and whether this is the time to do it or after the season it would take quite a turn around for him to survive. JMO.

I think Tyrod throws long better than the short-mid range passes.
