My observations of Kane is he has the speed of today's NHL along with size and offense. So, Cox seems to put a lot of weight on power play goals vs even strength. Also his character issues.

So you want personality? How about Rex Ryan. Or lacking personality....who's that drab guy from the Patriots? Just give efficiency and someone who has a vision and a plan. Doesn't have to entertain me.

I think Darcy was a very mediocre to below average GM. Lindy on the other hand I think is a good coach above average in my opinion when I look around the league. Nolan totally out of it at this level.

oh, I didn't mean we should bring Ruff back only meant I wouldn't have fired him until after Darcy was fired. Nolan and Ruff , in my mind, are not even comparable when talking coaching. Darcy was a good coach in my opinion.

You may be right but to be honest I'm tired of ever time a player is underachieving we go to the fall back buzz word it's the system. How about they aren't that good or just don't care enough. I kind of like that better than "they don't fit our system" . Whatever that is.

I'm really getting to the same opinion. Reinhart being a disappointment is not totally on coaching. He's a okay player but not close to what you would expect from that high a pick. His trade value is quite low I would imagine so unless he's part of a package deal I think we're stuck with him as he is.

Housley will go from preseason accolades to get rid of him status by season end I suspect.

He had a lot to work with as an assistant. Remains to be seen if he's a good coach. I was happy when they hired him but must admit I'm beginning to think it was a mistake. Yeah, this team's not good but they're underachieving. Bylsma who we all hated I think had better results. They look worst this year.

Sorry but I disagree with this post. That overtime goal was not was not on our goaltending. In fact our goaltending has been a strong point for awhile now.

You just know sooner or later he's getting hurt. The way our luck is going the day before he would otherwise have been traded. JBot needs to know this.

I'm all for trading Kane at this point. Get picks/prospects and admit this is a team needing to rebuild around Eichel. We're not close enough to go long term on anyone right now. We need players not a player.
